trèfle was far too squeamish and passive to even think about becoming a guard, and there was no room or patience for the healer to deal with another ditzy, absent-minded trainee - so she instead ended up stuck as a hunter, which she wasn't particularly skilled at. she had now somehow ended up with two of the most no-nonsense mollies in the group, and that fact alone left her more jittery and high-strung than she normally would've been in an attempt to please the other two.
where genévrier and topaze both carried mouthfuls of prey only about halfway through the patrol, trèfle was left with nothing to show for her efforts due to the fact that her nerves caused her movements to be shaky and poorly-timed. her paws dragged in shame as she trailed behind them, trying to ignore the whispers they exchanged.
it was only when she spotted a flash of purple that she finally perked up. "guys, wait - look!" trèfle frantically called out in an attempt to catch her fellow hunters' attention. "look!" she repeated. "gourdons! they're rare in this area, aren't they so pretty?"
"you know, trèfle, i wonder why you didn't go down the healer path recognizing plants like that," topaze said with an almost mocking laugh. "you surely don't belong here if all you're bringing back to camp is a few pretty flowers."
she didn't know how to respond, and, feeling significantly less than, instead turned to genévrier. "pervenche will like them."

While many wildflowers grow in the mountian forests of ShiverClan territory, FeatherBreeze's likes the ones she finds unique. Namely, fairyslippers, are her favorite by far. They are quite rare and don't much like to be disturbed, but she has a certain knack for finding the small flowers every year. Which is a good thing, according to the clan's Herbalist, as the leaves of this flower stop seizures. But they have to be careful when picking them, because disturbing the flowers too much causes them to die.
