"What is a fosh ??"
A fosh appears to be a creature that resembles a "fisher cat", a mustelid that is
native to North America . This creature can be found in similar regions as the
elusive fisher cat and may often be mistaken as the same animal . Other than
being slightly larger than the average fisher cat, a fosh hosts some .. unusual
traits that it's close relative does not . They have an opaque leathery pouch
on their neck, it is made out of skin and serves as a type of food storage .
Much like how a chipmunk will store nuts in its cheeks, fosh store left over
fish or other foods in their pouch . This is helpful when food is scarce .
Another unique trait is the fish on their tail . However, do not let looks
fool you- this is no fish . It is actually a parasite that has found it's home
on the tails of every fosh, and it is passed to every child a fosh has during
birth . Other than catching a free ride and a share of the fosh's resources,
this parasite does not seem to cause any harm to the fosh . The
parasite cannot be removed from the fosh's tail and they act as two
separate entities, both with their own personality and brain .

Banned users may keep their fosh but may not
participate in any species events, obtain new adopts,
join the discord, etc . You may transfer your fosh's
design off species, but if an appeal is made afterwords
you must use a MYO ticket to revive the character as
a fosh .

Breaking any rule will subject a user to a "strike" . A user may
receive up to 3 strikes before they are banned . A banned user
may put in for an appeal depending on the severity .
General
1 .. Fosh are a respectful, inclusive community and no participating
users should be rude, nasty, or mean to one another . POC, LGBT,
etc are all equally welcome here, as are fosh that represent them .
2 .. There will be no theft of any fosh, stealing a character from
another user will result in an immediate ban of the offending
user, with minimal chance of appeal .
3 .. Poor sportsmanship is frowned upon heavily, please respect an
artist if they choose to made a paid adopt or a free adopt, and
respect the winner of any said adopt .
4 .. Fosh may be traded/ gifted, but must go through the formal process
before the owner transfer will be considered official . Fosh may
be resold, but only for what they were bought at ( excluding fosh
that come with extra art/ writing pieces ) .
5 .. Please do not spam any fosh thread, even if your intentions are
nothing but pure- its annoying . Keep any conversation on topic and
refrain from excessive "bumping" .
Artists
1 .. Artists must put out 1 adopt per week at minimum to retain their
position . A temporary hiatus while maintaining your position may
be granted but prior notice must be given and discussed with the owner .
Failing to meet this requirement for 2+ weeks will result in a notice and
then removal of the artist position .
2 .. As an artist, you may choose to charge however much you see fit for an adopt,
or choose to host a free competition . Artists keep all earning from the
adopts they make .
3 .. Artists may choose to fill any user's MYO ticket if they so wish, and they may
charge an extra fee for doing so . Meaning, if a user does not fill their
MYO ticket, they are subject to whatever price an artist may charge
on top of the price of their MYO ticket .
4 .. If an artist is caught directly ripping off another user's design it will result
in immediate stripping of position and a ban from the species . Designs
loosely inspired by tv/anime/video game characters are okay- but
practice caution and keep the design unique still .
Guest Artists
1 .. Guest artists may make a maximum of 5 adopts in a 2 week time frame .
2 .. Guest artists may NOT fill another user's MYO ticket .
3 .. A minimum of 3 adopts is required to cash in for an uncommon MYO
ticket at the end of your trial, this is to prevent users from doing the bare
minimum and reaping the rewards of those who work for it .
Ownership and breeding
1 .. A single user may own up to 5 fosh at this current time .
This is to ensure that everyone gets a chance at owning a fosh and joining
in on all the fun ! This limit is subject to go up in time or have an item
that'll allow it to increase .
2 .. Fosh can NOT be revoked from ANY user . If another
user wishes to "revoke" your fosh for any reason please alert me and the
proper stike/ban will be given out to the offender .
3 .. Any fosh of any gender may breed ! They are a made
up animal so nothing prevents a lgbt pairing from having some babies .
4 .. A single fosh may be bred up to 3 times ! There is
a 3 week cool down between breedings . The amount of breeding is
possibly subject to change with an item .
5 .. It takes a "small fry" 2 weeks to mature into an
adult fosh . You may "age up" your small fry on your own, which will
then need to be approved by a fosh staff member, or commission a
fosh artist to age your small fry up for you . You must wait another
week before you can breed the fosh in question .
6 .. With any change of ownership ( whether selling,
rehoming, or gifting ), please notify the archivist after filling out
the formal transfer form ( which is currently a wip ) .
