Lore
Blithe Bears are a tranquil species, and so is the land they inhabit. Close to a lush forest brimming with life, they roam meadows of green grass and colourful flowers. Joyful rivers cut through the fields, supplying the bears with plenty of fish and ways to cool down in the summer. Even in winter, the quick-moving streams do not freeze over, ensuring that even those those who do not wish to hibernate during the coldest season don’t have to struggle with their hunts.
Other prey is also bountiful in these lands, and there rarely is a reason to worry about survival, with smaller critters populating the meadow and larger animals like deer and elks thriving in the forest in scores.
There are no traces of civilization in this untouched valley, the next human settlement hundreds of miles away, leaving the Blithe Bears and the other inhabitants to live a carefree and unbothered life in peace and solitude.

Dens
Every Blithe Bear owner must have an on-site thread to store their Bears. You are required to list all of your Bears on this thread. Listing their rarity, hex-codes, and any of your items is optional. You are also more than welcome to add your own lore. You are allowed to have an off-site thread to hold your bears, but I ask that you link to the main page.

AffiliatesFosh!
"A fosh appears to be a creature that resembles a "fisher cat", a mustelid that is
native to North America . This creature can be found in similar regions as the
elusive fisher cat and may often be mistaken as the same animal . Other than
being slightly larger than the average fisher cat, a fosh hosts some .. unusual
traits that it's close relative does not . They have an opaque leathery pouch
on their neck, it is made out of skin and serves as a type of food storage .
Much like how a chipmunk will store nuts in its cheeks, fosh store left over
fish or other foods in their pouch . This is helpful when food is scarce .
Another unique trait is the fish on their tail . However, do not let looks
fool you- this is no fish . It is actually a parasite that has found it's home
on the tails of every fosh, and it is passed to every child a fosh has during
birth . Other than catching a free ride and a share of the fosh's resources,
this parasite does not seem to cause any harm to the fosh . The
parasite cannot be removed from the fosh's tail and they act as two
separate entities, both with their own personality and brain ."
Seamallows
This is a Seamallow, a happy go lucky, friendly seal. They absolutely love sweets, especially marshmallows! When they don't eat they usually spend their time sleeping, as well as cuddling with other Seamallows. It is said that being close to a Seamallow will bring good luck.
They have very short fur that feels like velvet and keeps them dry when they go for a dive.
Hugging a Seamallow will overcome the person with immediate happiness!
Ryerkol
Ryerkol are a large, thick-furred canid which resides in predominantly arctic regions.
Ryerkol's origins are mainly unknown, as while their physical appearance reads more as canine, fox-like, even, they have a few genetic interests which set them apart.
For starters, a typical healthy Ryerkol can grow upwards of around 5-6 feet at shoulder length, some of the largest reaching almost 7 feet.
The nose of a Ryerkol is folded over, the more textured canine nose being hidden.
Ryerkol soon developed vents on their sides, helping their limited breathing ability.
Their lip has a hardened edge to it, pointing into what's called as a 'faux tooth'. While the misshapen mouth has a threatening aura to it, it's all for the show, as the faux tooth is nothing more than a threat to predators and rival Ryerkol.
Ryerkol usually don't live in hierarchical packs, preferring smaller groups of 4-10, some even living solo or just with a mate. Ryerkol are omnivores, as their climate is already rather baren for food, they can't afford to be picky. Their jaw shows this, having their pointer canines towards the front and their flatter, plant-eating teeth located more towards the back. While they have the ability to eat plants, berries, nuts etc, they do have a considerable preference for meat. Depending on the area, Ryerkol's prefered meal is an ox or reindeer, as their size is ideal and they're easy enough to find.
