Maybe it was a force of habit or maybe just maybe Valiente was feeling something for Zanza. But every time he greeted her his words would fumble and his paws would shake and he would start laughing before punching her in the arm. Zanza was always confused he Valiente’s behavior but she would just smile and return a light punch to her friend in return. Yes, Valiente was a little bit goofy and terrifying with his red paws and face.But to be fair he had one heck of right hook.

And as routine came to be annoyance Zanza finally slugged him back. Valiente sailed across the clearing earning tips from pups and cackles from his cackle. He finally landed dazed under a tree with a star struck look in his eyes. Valiente was in love and Zanza finally slugging him back showed that she really did love him back. Or so he thought.

Maybe just maybe he simply needs to find a new way to express his love.

Robin is a very shy hyena so the way she shows love is very subtle.

When she has a crush or interest in someone she will occasionally smile at them shyly before running away. Then she will start doing little nice things for that lion, sometimes in secret and sometimes in a way that could be taken for just being nice. But she will do it far too often to be just being nice.

Sometimes she will leave little gifts for them or special notes. She will do chores for them, and help them out in any way she can. She will spend hours making a gift or hunt by herself to find their favorote food. She tries to know everything she can about the lion, but never actually asks them about anything. Sometimes it is obvious that she has a crush, sometimes she is just too shy or the lion is too oblivious.

The only way she will end up telling the lion, is if they confront her about everything first. Maybe then she will finally reveal her affection for them.

She will always try to wake up earlier than her mate, just to bring them some fresh water and greet him. She will try to get very special presents for him, as for example, a strange gem, a piece of meat of a very rare to catch animal or if the situation happens, maybe even some human objects. She will try to spend all the time possible with him, and enjoy every moment they are together.
The problem comes when; the one you like is a lion. She hasn’t told it to anyone, but she has secret feelings for a feline. She is afraid to tell the lion in question about her feelings, in case the lion would reject her and finish their relationship there. Her lion interest doesn’t suspect anything yet, as he simply thinks of her as a very good and close friend that simply cares about him maybe too much.
