this collie in particular is basically an extreme version of the normal coloration. similar to how an agouti can be light or dark in appearance.

Suggestion 1: Alopex ; both ancient Greek for fox and a taxonomic synonym for the Arctic fox. In Greek myth, the Teumessian fox (Alopex Teumessius) was a huge fox destined never to be caught, and Laelaps the magical dog, destined to catch everything it chased, was set after it in a futile paradox. This resulted in them both being turned to stone and eventually turned into constellations - Canis Major and Canis Minor.
Suggestion 2: Revontulet ; the Finnish word for aurora, translates literally to fox-fires. "In Northern Finland, the fox is said to conjure the aurora borealis while it runs through the snowy hills. When the fox’s fur touches the snow it creates magical sparks and sets the sky ablaze."

Suggestion 2: Wildfire - the smokey greys and black combined with bright orange reminds me of a wildfire! it would also work with other colors (tan, cream, silver, etc) as fire becomes white the hotter it gets!

Teumessian sounds cooler imo but I also understand that some users may have gripes with such a long name, so Cadmean is a stand-in as a more reasonably lengthened name for the same thing. ^^
