Owl was given her name for her very large eyes. They are always watching, observing, curious. She was thought to be mysterious, a quite kit. The others would tease her, bully her. She didn't know how to stand up for herself. She couldn't speak, as she was mute, that was for sure.

So, that very night, she devised a plan.

Taking her leftover dinner, the young kit made a small trail leading from the outside world into camp. If only she knew how it would turn out.

It’s not very often that this happens. A kit, born, with seemingly the entire moon in their eyes. A striking gaze, one that will, inevitably, witness both the extremes of love and pain in their lifetime. Born with eyes closed, Amber had originally been known as “Molly” by her mother. However — the first day those eyes opened, she knew that those eyes thought differently. Bright, piercing, almost as warm as the sun in the sky. Those eyes would see, feel, and change the world. Hopefully, though, it would be for the better... eyes like that can only hold mystery.
