Artistically clumsy is probably the politest way to describe Benney.

There's something to be said about a man who's described as having two left hands rather than feet when trying to finger paint. As a child he was always eager to 'explore' new creative outlets, to not let his crayons be confined to only the paper, but to the table underneath. Sometimes, even, the floors and the walls. His messy, telltale scribbles were cute when he was little, but growing up, he never seemed to shake that level of ability.

His handwriting was fine, albeit a bit scruffy, but absolutely still legible. But when it came to the creative side of things, the skill just never seemed to communicate through his hands. His lines were wobbly when he drew, and the color was never neat. More paint ended up on his hands than on the page. Scrapbooking involved sticky hands and glue ending up in the most bizarre places. Felt tips, water color, carving, sketching, blending; he just couldn't do it. Try as he might, art was just not his thing.

And that's why he loves Easter.

You don't need artistic ability to purchase ready-made decorations and put them around the house. Garlands, baskets, fluffy little chicks, and bunnies nibbling carrots; he could handle those. He could manage hanging them up and placing them on the coffee and dining room tables. In that regard, it was an easy holiday. But what he really liked about Easter was that it was the perfect season for him to let loose with his - somewhat questionable - creative spirit.

No one cared what easter eggs looked like, as long as they were chocolate. He could melt chocolate like a pro, and pouring them into molds was a piece of cake. Once they were set, he had more than a lot of fun decorating them. It just took more melted chocolate, and a bit of food coloring. Wobbly stripes, mismatched colors, different sized spots, and crooked zigzags; all of it was fine. He could splatter pinks and blues and yellow over the eggs - and the kitchen counter, of course - and not care about how tidy they were. A chocolate treat didn't need to be professional, it just needed to be tasty. It needed to put a smile on your face, and make you feel happy. Easter was a creative season, regardless of skill, and that's why it was the perfect time for Benney.

Sure, they've only had the game this year, and SURE , they also enjoy making eggs with memes on them, but nothing compares to finding those sweet, sweet eggs while roaring through Animal Crossing. Right now, Symphony can be found nestled under a pile of blankets, gently cheering in excitement as they pull up yet another egg instead of a fish. While her friends are yelling that every balloon coming in is an egg, Symphony reminds them that if they dont like it, they can give the eggs to them. Truly, a pastel, egg colored dream world. Symphony loves it.
