Prompt:
If Icepaw was a human, his job would be something similar to a coroner. The reason he is a medicine cat is not because of his skills with herbs, but it is instead due to his connection with the ancestors. One of the apprentice's weaknesses is his diagnostic skills and his charisma - he finds cats to be a pain and that they don't tell the truth. This means that he struggles to diagnose cats with what is ailing them and without Bluemoon, his mentor, cats would likely have died.

However, Icepaw finds that he is able to diagnose cats more easily once they are deceased - often with the guidance of the ancestors. He can see what is wrong with them more clearly without the cats insistence that he is wrong or leading him in the wrong direction with unrelated symptoms. The apprentice is also able to find links between deaths that the other medicine cats had not made.

Cloudheart would be the human equivalent of a therapist. She is constantly talking with cats in the clan and trying to get to the root of their problems, and help them work around what might be in their way at the moment. She is a very warm figure in the clan, and many cats always refer newer members to her for her warm advice. She isn’t afraid to tell them what they need to hear and is willing to be mean about it, finding that the cats that she does this too later thank her for being honest and blunt.

lily would love to work as a humble herbalist, diagnosing ailments and handling medicine. she has devoted most of her life to collecting herbs and materials in the territory, and learning all she can about them to better her clan's understanding of healing. though valeclan cats do not have a designated healer, lily would absolutely fill the role of medicine cat in a traditional clan. as a human, lily would like to work independently without the constraints of societal standards of healthcare - so, an herbalist would fit better over a standard doctor or pharmacist. she would prefer to use plants and roots as much as possible when healing her clanmates, over pharmaceuticals drugs.

If she had a human job, Maplepaw would work as a maid or a janitor in a hotel. She'd spend hours bending over, standing, and walking, being exposed to disgusting things and stranger's lives, all for far too little pay. Just like a hotel maid, she's underappreciated, never given enough credit for how hard she works or how much she has to go through. Being able to go into stranger's rooms would be nice for her, though. She loves to snoop into the lives of others and figure out just what it is they do when they think that nobody will find out. She'd collect secrets from the hotel guests, just like she collects secrets from her clanmates.

Prompt: Pinewool wouldn't have a fun flashy job, but they would have an important job. They'd be a janitor. Often time overlooked or even mocked, they slip under the radar of most cats. No one cares much about the person who picks up your trash. Pinewool is content, though, knowing they do something so important. They don't have to deal with speaking to others, they just do their job and feel accomplished with themselves.

Prompt: Brightshadow, being the clan’s lead hunter, would probably end up being some kind of lawyer if they had to chose a two leg job. They’re a natural leader and one of the few cats whose secure enough in herself to stand up for the betterment of herself and others. She’s expected to represent her smaller division of cats in the clan’s council meetings to her tyrannical leader. A cat who often doesn’t see eye to eye with her on the accommodations and expectations that should be placed on her hunters. It’s given her a way with words and a talent for crafting arguments that are sound while also being easy to understand. The skills she’s picked up would transition well into the life of a lawyer, presenting an argument and defending your people as best you can.
