For this kalon, I want you to tell me something Good related to them and something Bad related to them, and write a situation in which both of these come into play; either in unison or conflicting. (this can be personality, skillset, memories, events, relationships with others, ect, but not limited to these) Feel ABSOLUTELY free to interpret the prompt however you want; I want to see what you come up with!

The good/bad brief notes should be written, and no more than 100 words each. The Prompt/situation mixed can be UP TO 500 words AND/OR 2 art pieces (in total.) ; you get ONE extra to do with what you please. 250 words, or 1 more art piece

res, i’m pretty busy but i like this kal a lot so i might enter

Username: SilentMelody | Kalon name: Zarina (meaning "gold") | Gender: female

Good element: As the goddess of light, Zarina is gentle and kind. On top of this, she's usually very optimistic and "sunny". She likes to bring bad kalons to justice, doing this in a fair balance of the scales and by using good morals.

Bad element: After being caged, Zarina's kindness as well as her yellow fur have begun to fade. She's started to hold grudges against her captor and has been thinking about her revenge, which is something she usually doesn't do. The goddess has started to slowly go against her own morals.

A situation in which they mix: res with being a goddess chained up and unallowed to use her powers, fur is grey and used to be yellow but is dim because she's in chains. suddenly escapes and wreaks havoc upon the person that trapped her

his good element is his pride. he is confident, and he carries himself as
such - lucien is faithful in his own abilities, always believing himself to
be the best there ever was. that confidence could be misinterpreted in
some ways, but no one can deny the unmistakable charisma that tails
behind lucien and his sharp, unwavering tongue. he is bold, and he waits

his bad element is his pride. he is arrogant, and he doesn't hesitate in
letting everyone know. lucien is always pushing his own achievements
and accomplishments onto other people, and it's evident that he doesn't
own a single humble bone in his body. he is a braggart, a showoff, an
unpleasant person who always looks down on others. it's gotten to the
point where he himself is now a sin, but lucien still disregards that fact;
sins are imperfect, and he can't be anything but perfect. lucien refuses
to change, and he thinks he's above everyone else. he embodies pride.

prompt + extra:

from all around lucien, he could hear shouts and screams echoing in his ears. they belonged to the desperate,
the unfortunate, the unlucky people that had followed lucien only to be led to their impending deaths. it was
grating to his ears, but if he concentrated on himself enough, lucien was able to drown out the noise. this only
got easier and easier to handle with experience, and he felt zero guilt over leading the other people into an
obvious mouse trap.

in his defense, they should've seen it coming. they could've said no, and everything would've been well for them.
it was all their fault. they died, and that was their fault alone. lucien held no responsibility for their lives, and
his concern only laid with himself.

again, they should've seen it coming.

lucien stood quietly, swathed in shadows and wielding a handgun for "self-defense", as he watched his plan click
into place. all the sacrifices were to bait out a bigger prey; he didn't need to have to dirty his own hands for
such a menial task. the lower demons only focused on the people in front of him, and paid lucien no mind. it
wasn't like they could, either; lucien was swathed in protective charms and had offered none to his sacrificial
lambs.

not that they would ever know of this singular deed of his.









when he deemed the situation to be dire enough, he stepped out of his safe place. holding a bottle of salt in one
hand and a vial of holy water in the other, lucien instantly commanded the attention of everyone who was still
alive. "comrades! we are so close, we just need one last push! with the purity of the salt and the holiness of this
artifact, there is no way we can lose!"

what lucien said was true, if he had been intending to use those items. salt and holy water were indeed used to
drive away lower demons, but the tiny spawn of lucifer weren't what he was looking for.

when the final body cooled, lucien sighed quietly, almost as though he was mourning for everyone who had fallen.
a large, wispy figure drifted among the corpses, and it smiled brightly at lucien. "well, well, a mortal! how funny,
little human, do you know that airs of importance are the credentials of impotence? do you know what you're up
against?"

lucien stared unflinchingly into the sin's soulless stare. "of course, i've done my homework. this is what i desire
most. i should have the power of a deity. have i proven myself to you tonight, lucifer? are you pleased with me?"

"there are stipulations," lucifer commented.

"they don't apply to me," lucien insisted.

lucifer barked out a harsh, scornful laugh. "they don't apply to you, you say? very well, i see you've already become
as dark as a sin, yourself! no more delaying, then; take your coveted power! in exchange,

"your life belongs to all the other 'lucifers' before you!"

the power surged through lucien's power, and for a brief moment, he felt absolutely euphoric. he turned to face
lucifer triumphantly when a sudden stab of pain very nearly brought him to his knees. something scratched and
pressed uncomfortably against his throat, and when his fingers flew to his neck in a desperate scramble to get the
thing off, his nails simply glided off the smooth metal of a collar.

the sin, now merely more than mist in front of him, laughed again. "i told you, there are stipulations! there are
conditions! nothing in this world comes free, especially something as precious as power. you're as strong as a sin
now, sure, but you're also slave to the will of pride. is it worth it? your body is the new host, and let me tell you,
some of the former lucifers were getting quite eager for a new body."









"i don't care," lucien, no, lucifer wheezed out. a heavy weight sat around his neck, but he felt better than ever. he
straightened up, consciously aware of his posture, and smiled back at the sin. "now, no one will ever dream of ever
challenging me!"

"dream on," the sin scoffed, rolling its eyes in exasperation, "a natural leader you may be, but under the influences
of being a sin, even you would be unable to escape such desires. you'll thirst for blood, and you'll do anything for
that blood."

"so be it, then. it's a fair trade."

"... you're crazy. i approve."
