Beechripple's favorite time of the day has always been when the moon is at its peak, giving extreme light to the land below. It bathes everything in silver, and Beechripple loves to go hunting at this time because he can catch nocturnal animals, which he has decided he liked the taste of more than daytime prey.

Prompt: Coppersun's favorite time of day has always been dusk because of the beautiful sunsets there were. Of course, there were sunrises as well, but Copper preferred the sunsets because of the darker hues in the sky rather than the brighter ones. Not many cats knew of the slight difference between the two, but being an observant hunter, he picked up on things a little faster than others.

It wasn't just the colors that intrigued him about dusk, however. Since he was a kit, his father used to bring him out to the lake by which he was born so they could watch the sunsets together. While they were there, the large tom would tell his son stories of the ancestors that came before them. It had always been the two of them alone in the forest south of Glacial Blizzard Clan, so the stories of ancestors used to confuse him, but ever since his father died he liked to believe that he was nestled among the ancestors as well and was always looking down on him as he went through life.

Vinetangle collapsed in a heap next to his siblings, letting himself stretch and sigh in the short grass next to them. He's just returned from several hours out walking in the territory, running errands. But his favorite point of the day was upon him- what was essentially lunch!

"Tired?" Luckyfeather said with a smile, watching him as he smiled and rolled about. He sat upon, shaking some debris from his fur as he pulled a mouse closer to himself and began to tear at it. "Exhausted! Famished!"

However eating and resting wasn't the only thing he liked most about this time of day. It was the atmosphere, and the coming together of things. As they grew older and busier these moments- when the clan sat down and ate, as one very large, happy family- even if they didn't talk, it was very companionable. And what with Luckyfeather and her mate in kits, and their parents' death, and his brother off exploring half the time, and Alpinesmoke mooning over his 'girlfriend', the once close siblings didn't interact as much as he would have liked. As for Dollface- he wasn't sure what she did... Yet even she still always seemed busy nowadays.

He lay back down and let Luckyfeather groom over his head and ears, a gentle purring sounding between them as Howlsnap and Alpinesmoke joined them. Dollface followed a second after, a fish in her jaws which she placed near them as she leaned against Alpinesmoke and shared it with him.

It would only a be a few minutes more before they all went back to work. But Vinetangle let him rest in the moment among friends.

Prompt: Yarrowthroat loves the early mornings, when the prey is out and about. She loves to hunt and when the morning is just starting and the prey is still a bit drowsy from waking, she is out and about, taking the opportunity. It's also some of the most quiet times in the day that allows her to escape from the clan and reflect upon herself. The cool air and limited sunlight make for a very refreshing time. Having this known through the clan, is is usually put on the dawn patrol or morning hunting party.

Flurrystorm's favorite time of day is sunset, but not for any of the normal reasons. He doesn't care much for the colorful light show in the sky that so many cats seem intrigued by, nor does he care about the way the setting sun lights up PetalClan's meadow territory. What Flurrystorm adores is the fact that he can physically feel the air change from unbearably warm to a colder, more tolerable temperature. He spends as much time as possible during the day in the shade, trying to avoid the suffocating heat of the sun's ray. To him, sunset marks the time of day when at last that horrible sun finally disappears under the horizon, where it belongs.

Sheep's favorite time of day is Sunhigh, when everything in the world is finally awake and alive. At this time of day, it seems like the sun itself laughs with her as she races through the shimmering green fields of her home, or swims with her little brother in the creek. And when her energy runs low, Sheep catches a ride on the back of her namesake - the farmer has plenty, and they don't seem to mind - and watches the sun-stained world move and breathe around her. Midday just so happens to also be the best time for naps, especially after eating a meal, with the sun warming her fur and her belly full, Sheep never sleeps easier than she does when the sun is up and smiling down on her.

Accordingly, he thinks it's a lucky time of day- one where anything can happen. Absolutely anything, even - perhaps - changing his past.
