Shadow Flitz (Singular; Shadow Flit) are a long bodies species that have long since lost their hind legs, tail, and eyes to the power of the shadow and have replaced them with mold-able wispy appendages. these large, friendly beasts have been recently tamed to be ridden by humans and anthros alike. They have large, wide front paws, long pointed ears, and short, smooth fur. They can be naturally found in dark caves, wetlands, or thick forests. however have also been spotted in pastures while hunting. They are carnivores- meaning they are only meant to eat meat and they often prey on birds, deer, rodents, and bats.

- Scientist
- Little markings on her back remind me of portals
- Slightly insane, but incredibly intelligent and materealistic
- Knows her stuff
- Family gal; would do anything for close friends and family
- Pretty prideful - takes a lot of credit for her work
- Prefers to be called The Doctor by strangers, Dr. Philius by fellow scientists, Dr. Fira by friends, and just Fira by her family
- Has a degree in piloting
- Could be a mechanic; sometimes will do small side jobs involving mechanics

Fira dropped her wrench and stood back to look at her masterpiece. Well, it didn't look like much. A hunk of metal in a circle, wires everywhere, but Fira knew what it was.

Edging to the side, The Doctor pressed a red button on the right side. There was a revving sound and Dr. Fira's eyes windened almost impossibly as a shimmer blue....substance appeared.

Dr. Fira edged in front of it and put her paw in. A weird tickling sensation met her, but her paw was somewhere cooler. She edged closer before emersing her whole body in the portal.

It felt like tingling water and then suddenly a cool breeze met her and she tumbled gracefully out of the portal. She was in a small, snowy town. She smiled. Her hometown. Now she could visit family whenever she wanted, easily. She stepped back into her portal with a satisfied sigh. And the best part - only she could use it.
