To enter, you must own a founder and be at level 1, or must not have a founder form submitted and can adopt this cat as your founder!

This is a partner contest with #1169! These cats are in some way related- by blood or by bond of adoption or mentorship. The only relationship not allowed is romance. They have been separated, however, and find each other once more later. Your task is to find a partner and plan a story that tells of who they were to each other, what separated them and what brought them back together. You can do this literally (ex; there was a storm and they were separated) or metaphorically (ex; their ideals changed and they became enemies). You have 5,000 words total for your collective form and an optional two extras that can be anything you want, once again, collectively. You must both contribute something to your form! This ends November 23rd at 5:00 PM EST.

Littlenose shoved his slim frame underneath some undergrowth, feeling it snag at his pelt like little claws. He had decided that he would leave Wishclan for a bit and try to find some of the remaining Creekclan cats. He knew Bluestorm and his brother had made it out alive – but there was one cat in particular that Littlenose was trying to find.
Onyxpaw, his apprentice.
He had been travelling for days and made it to the previous clan’s territory but had not managed to find any cats there.
Now, with his paws dragging wearily, Littlenose was no longer confident that any other cats had survived. It was getting dark and he was about to settle down for the night when voices caught his attention.
That sounds… strangely familiar.
He hurried forward, dodging around trees towards the voices. He paused behind a large oak tree, scenting the air experimentally.
That scent! I know that scent!
Taking a deep breath, he jumped out behind the tree and came face-to-face with a small black cat.
“Littlenose?” The young cat asked, eyes wide in surprise.
“How do you… Onyxpaw?” Littlenose responded, eyes mimicking the apprentice’s.
There were two cats accompanying the young tom-cat, a fluffy calico she-cat and a ruddy ticked tabby.
“Littlenose!!” Onyxpaw cried, leaping forward and snuggling into the white tom’s fur.
“Oh Onyxpaw, I never thought I would see you again.” Littlenose nuzzled the apprentice’s black head, before turning away and looking at the other cats.
“Who are you?” The calico she-cat asked, her mismatched eyes watching him with a worried expression plastered across her features.
“My name is Littlenose, former warrior of Creekclan, now a warrior of Wishclan.” He turned his gaze on Onyxpaw again. “And this little guy’s previous mentor. Who are you?” He asked, bringing his green eyes up to meet the red she-cat.
“I am Vanillacloud, and this is Tigerlilly.” The calico replied, nodding to the cat beside her. “We are warriors from Lotusclan.”
Littlenose nodded as he looked back at Onyxpaw. “Why are you here?”
“I could ask you the same thing! But Emberstar, the leader of my new clan, asked us to go and try to find some new friends. So Tigerlilly, Vanillacloud and I have been exploring for ages! It’s been great!”
Littlenose smiled sadly, “It looks like you’ve grown up a lot.”
Onyxpaw nodded. “After the fire… things changed a lot.”
Littlenose nodded, his mind flashing back to the terrible forest fire that had torn their clan apart… But he shook his head, clearing the memories away.
“Well, I guess… I guess I should be going.” Littlenose suddenly felt very sad, his heart heavy. He had been hoping that he could’ve taken some Creekclan cats back to his new home, but there was no way he could ask the young apprentice to leave his own new home.
“Wait!” Onyxpaw called as Littlenose stepped away. “Why don’t you come with us?”
He didn’t miss the quick glance shared between Tigerlilly and Vanillacloud, it was a mix of surprise and uncertainty.
He lowered his voice, sharing what he was about to say just to the young cat.
“Onyxpaw, I have a place of my own now. With Bluestorm and some other cats. If I don’t return they’ll think I’ve been killed, and I can’t have that. I… I also… have someone waiting for me.” After his first mate, Fernsnap, had been killed in the fire he had never thought he would be able to love again. But then he’d met the beautiful she-cat that lived in Wishclan, and she had fallen in love with him too.
“Oh… Does this… does this mean we’ll never see each other again?” Onyxpaw looked up at the larger warrior, something in his eyes that Littlenose could not place.
"I... I don't know."
