Name:
Lilithia {Lilly}
Personality:
The kind of girl who people would consider beautiful on the outside, not on the inside. She can come off rude, most of the time and is your typical "Mean Girl" in most peoples eyes. She grew up with a lot of expectations being put on her so she hides her feelings and puts up a strong front. She has no 'Real' friends only admirers she keeps around to make herself feel better and not so empty inside. On the off chance she ever trusts you, and pulls off the mask that she wears around everyone, you will find that she's a very friendly girl who just wants to be seen as a person, and not as a trophy. She's had to adapt to get what she wants, especially because being a female she often gets talked down to..she quickly changed that and is now feared by most of her classmates.
Hobby:
Anyone that thinks they know her would say her only hobby is Tennis. Growing up in a household full of extreme athletes she was pushed day 1 to be the best she could be. And while she does love tennis, she somteims wishes she could be more normal and not have crazy workout routines and training sessions. The various Tennis tournaments that she gets to go to often gives her plenty of opportunities to add to her actual hobby, Scrap-booking. When she's alone in the confines of her room, tucked away from the pressure of keeping up her appearance she puts together beautiful books full of pictures. She has drawers upon drawers of materials she buys from her favorite shop, "Abigails" which is quite aways away from her home, in another city.
Lilly Is afraid that if people knew she was artsy and way more into crafts than sports that she would be seen as weird or a nerd.
It's silly to think that way, and she knows it... but shes afraid to change after being known as the "Tennis Star" for all her life.
Extra:
She stared in the mirror in front of her, tears begging to fall from her eyes.
"You can do this, Lilly...It's the same as its always been just chin up..smile. Pretend like nothing is wrong."
She pulled her eyes away a moment to pick a makeup bag out of her purse.
Reapplying powder to her nose and under her eyes she sighed and gave her best smile.
"This is as good as its gonna get.."
She packed it up, pulled the purse over her shoulder and emerged from her room with a huge fake smile plastered to her face.
"Good morning, Mother, Father"
She kissed her father on the cheek before sitting herself down across from him at the table.
Without missing a beat her father started reading off her training schedule for the week, not once looking up from his newspaper.
This would have been easy to put up with, like it was any other day. If only it weren't for the fact that the night before her father walked in on her scrapbooking and decided to take it away fearing that it was "Too Distracting" and she couldn't possibly have anything to take away from her Tennis.
"And don't forget, no distractions, Lillitha. Your mother and I don't provide all of this for you to go and mess up like that."
"Yes father, I understand" and with that I stood up to leave.
I would need to take a trip down to Abigails, and find a better hiding spot...
