He forgets to blink, staring at the sight in front of him. He growls, deep, dark, quietly. He tries to hide his fear and play strong and brave. But the fear lies in his eyes, he is unable to hide it. He thinks about running away, but he doesn't dare to. It will follow. He cannot escape.

Unfortunately, he ends up staring like a deer in the headlights. It is always the same. His legs do not answer him, though he tells him to run; his arms do not move, though he tries to brace himself. Not a noise will leave him, and that, in itself, is terrifying.

Walter had already faced his fear; being thrown through the time, falling for long as the intended time period. He was told others had sat tight and waited for it to be over, but not him. He flailed for his life against the time travel. Next thing he ripped through the warp and constantly flickering in and out different time periods uncontrollably. Time had taken his body, but not his mind. Nothing to do but to suffer.

He begins to twitch, fiddling with his claws as he backs away uneasily. Digit haunches down, never looking directly at what causes fear. He stammers uncontrollably, now scratching violently at his chest or cheek. Fear drives his sleep deprived, paranoid mind to the limit. His reactions are uncontrollable. Does he run? Does he stay locked up? His legs are jelly, unable to handle his weight.

She could destroy it. But then she would lose her machine, her friend.

Tears dripped from her eyes as she tore through the gears. The machine fell silent.
