Name: Sierra
Gender: Female
Tribal Rank; Head of The Green Faction
Sierra has always had a rather... interesting relationship with the sun. You see, she's no fool when it comes to the strength of the suns rays or the dangers of continual exposure. Very few know of the dangers as well as Sierra, her home in a tribe of desert-dwelling viscets ensuring this knowledge. Still, the beauty of a sunrise and the gift of light are certainly not things she is ignorant to either. She respects the sun though not always adoring it's more dangerous aspects, especially as it burns into her feathers and brings with it sweltering heat. Still, she see's the sun as a thing of balance. In harmony, it offers both benefit and risk, one being given without sacrificing the other.
Most around her fear the sun. It's a source of unimaginable power, a strength so unobtainable that continually it's rays break from its container in the sky. Some see it as a furious being, it's heat being related to that of an unquenchable ferocity reining over the earth in its flaming rays. Others see the sun as a gift, a bringer of life and light in the darkness. Looking to the sky, Sierra felt herself questioning both of those responses. Sure the sun was a merciless being whose presence was always noticed yet at the same time it also did offer a lot a benefit for those caught in its embrace. Pondering these thoughts so deeply, Sierra never even noticed the young viscling coming behind her.
Echoe gazed at her mentor curiously, watching as the desert winds blew through Sierra's feathers. The elder cet seemed to be ignorant of the youngers presence and, while she wasn't surprised, she was still just as disappointed. Seeing Sierra lost in her own thoughts as she took in the rays of the sun, Echoe began to recognize something about her mentor. Just as the sun follows a balance, rising and falling each day while bringing both life and death, Sierra does as well. She was a warrior yet a protector, a giver, and a taker. Sierra seemed to follow the forms of the sun far more than any could have ever imagined. She did her best to protect her people and provide them and her queen with her life, yet at the first sign of corruption, Sierra is quick to seek out justice. Echoe felt a sense of fear in her. While this sense of justice was commendable, it certainly could only lead to risks and danger.
Sierra was more than a simple warrior. The queen had entrusted her to command her troops and ensure the safety of this town. Echoe had a fear... she feared that in her drive to seek justice, Sierra would forget exactly what that word means. Those who upset the balance of the sun will get burned and soon, Echoe knew... soon Sierra would face the flames.

Sierra has never been the most emotional of viscets. Born and raised in a society where only the strong succeed, she was taught at a young age to throw her emotions away in the favor of her people and the queen. Despite this, she's embraced her destiny. Accepting the way of her clan, Sierra has succeeded where others have failed. By emotionally barricading herself from the outside, she has managed to rise throughout the ranks, gaining the status of a green, only one position away from being a high commander to the queen.
