Favorite Winter Activity: Shine has been known to be a troublemaker during the winter. People would find colorful winter socks, gloves, hats, and even slippers on pine trees in the forest. They would have to grumpily clean it up and yell at Shine for making a mess. But truthfully, Shine isn't a troublemaker, and doesn't do it to bother the neighbors or hunters. It's just that she absolutely loves to decorate. She's been very fond of decorating trees ever since her first Christmas. She was inspired to express her emotions by the way she decorates, for example, she would decorate a pine tree with blue socks if she's feeling sad, or with red hats if she's mad. But other times, it's a marking, because she also loves to venture into the Alaskan woods, and she can get lost very easily, so if she sees a scarf-decorated pine tree, she knows that she is home. Even though she lives in Alaska, and it basically snows there every day, she does this activity only on the month of December, the month of Christmas.

Ever since he discovered that he loved the hobby of making ice into shape
was the day he was to set up winter solace decorations.
He had been kicked out of the house for ruining ye old winter doll that there ancestors passed down for generation to generation.
So as a apology gift he had made a tiny little snow man out of the icicles.When he brought it inside his parents were impressed until it all melted away.

Since she was a little girl Neva has always enjoyed nature and the season winter after all it was the best time for her favorite tradition it was when her grandfather would take her down to the caves it was these winter days that they would propel into the unassuming cave mouth only to be lowered into a winter wonderland as the weather was always cool in her mountainous home even in summer the caves would remain at water freezing temperatures making them magical ice caves they would be down in the ice caves for hours exploring new paths and the differences in the ice no matter what Ice cave spelunking would always be her favorite winter tradition

Snowball fights!
Jack and his family hold a generational snowball tournament similar to dodgeball but with SNOW!
His family has won every single one of these friendly competitions and its now up to him to be the next to prove his mark.
Getting on the topic of "friendly competitions", it secretly has a cold hearted side, including pranks and jokes on the opposite teams. Some times they take it way to far, I mean, really! Jelly filled water balloons?!
Besides that, it is considered a 'real' sport in where they are at. Every family has there own team name, flags, and even territories which can be taken over in skirmishes, snow ball fights, which the winner then claims. Judges are the mayor and principals in the district, which they use drones to fly over areas to watch and record to show live to people watching.
How long this all goes depends on how fast people take territory, but it usually goes to about 4 days. If there is no clear winner, they will hold a 'showdown', having the teams with the most territory to go in an area, build a defense (from snow), and then hash it out.
Jack really doesn't understand why its so important, and so confusing, but only takes apart in it because he gets to have fun with his friends and family .
