While Avalon, Ava for short, didn't have the best life before
arriving at the shelter, she will miss the imaginary homes and
scenarios she had created in her head. Most people would
think that the loss of her leg was what caused her to be sad,
her leg was lost when she was young to a car accident. Her
previous owners had kept her in a crate for hours at a time,
something that should not be done to an active dog such as a
border collie. Apparently they believed that if their dog had
3 legs, it wouldn't need as much exercise as a 4 legged pup.
While laying in the crate, Ava would create her own worlds
and dream homes to live in. Ones with acres of land, others
where she could cuddle up by the fire after a long hike with
her owners. Sometimes she would have adventures, sailing on
ships or chasing crabs on a foreign beach. She is excited to be
going to a home where one of these dreams might possibly come
true, but it still feels as if she's left all of her worlds and adventures
behind. She's worried that she won't have time to daydream or go on
more 'adventures' once she's in her new home.

She lost her mate in a fight, the same thing that
led to her losing her leg. It's speculated they may
have also had one or two pups, and something
happened to those.

Why is she sad?:
Olly is sad because she misses her family she doesn't know why herself why they left her but one day it seemed like a normal day to olly but in the end it wasent at all

The day was a wensday and normally her people go to work and school but come home around the same time but this time they all left and only the father came back he grabbed some things letted olly outside fed and watered her and left again she figured they might have went on a trip but after the second day nobody came back she started to worry then after another day she was getting hungry she was working on a way to escape finally she found a way out and started wandering around looking for food and a couple days went by she kept checking back for her people but nobody came after about a week someone reported her and she was picked up by the shelter and now she realizes that she won't ever see her family again and that makes her very sad

Omg she is so cute might need an extension maybe a couple more days added idk I will ask if needed closer to the end date

Why is she sad?:
One of her best friends was adopted. Tango and her friend had been taken into the shelter along with 34 other dogs and 6 cats from a hoarding old lady's home. They had been put in the same cage when they were removed, put in the same kennel at the pound and then put in the same kennel at SCS. Their information tags said that they would be preferred being adopted together, but the adopter only wanted her. So now Tango sits, hoping to be adopted into a loving home like her best friend was.

Why is she sad?: rumi is sad because she doesnt like looking different then most animals. she knows that it wasn't her fault that she now has three legs but it makes her a little sad inside seeing all the dogs with four legs and all the cats with four legs. she also misses being able to run as fast as she could, she can still run fast just not as fast as she could when she had four legs.
