What do they do with doilies? ;;Me: Oh boy, you shouldn't have a-
Kiron: *eye twitch* Do even get me started on doilies!
Me: Oh my lord. It has begun.
Kiron: *glares at poor darkie* You shush! I think I have the right to explain this.
Me: *mumbles* Who took your eggo
Kiron: I heard that. Anyways, back to what I was saying. Doilies are horrid objects. You see, every time someone sees me, they say I remind them of a doily. At first, I didn't even know what they were. And when I found out, I was confused. Doilies are so girly and weird. I am NOT GIRLY. Okay, so some people mistake me for a girl sometimes. So what? That doesn't make me girly, right? Anyways, every holiday I get lacey or doily based items. I remind people all the time that I hate doilies, yet they always say they forget. And its rude to say you don't like a gift, so naturally I am stuck wearing my lacey hair pieces and shirts. Because once again, people think I'm a chick. *huff*
Me: Whelp. Thank you for that. Anyways, lets get on with the form.
Kiron: *blushes* Oops, I ranted a little bit there didn't I.
Me: No dur.
Kiron: *huff* *blush intensifies* Sorry guys.
Personality:Lets face it, Kiron loves to rant. Mostly because he loves talking. And while his rants can be annoying to some, most think he has every right. With the amount of times he was mistaken for a girl, and given doily items, a lot of people believe its fine that he likes to rant. And while its okay sometimes, he goes a bit overboard. He hates being interrupted, and often gets frustrated when he is. He is the type of person to go mute the moment he gets angry or frustrated. And while it isn't all his fault, people still get mad at him when he goes mute like that.
Oops, I didn't know!
A story about Kirons doily-based holidaysThe year had flown by like a raven in the night. So fast, so quietly, you had barely noticed. But Kiron definitely had. His most dreaded holiday approached with raging speed.
Christmas.
As the leaves failed to stay green, and the wind grew bitter and cold, his dread turned to anger, then nervousness once again. Every year, his family seemed to forget his hatred for doilies. The year before, all of the decorations had been doily based.
"Just for him!", they had said.
"Isnt it gorgeous!", they beamed.
And every time, with a fake smile, he replied calmly, "Yes mother. Yes father. Yes Aunt Beth."
Throughout the year, he would throw out his opinionated comments about doilies. Yet they never seemed to get the hint. He loved his family, he really did. He just wished they would actually listen to him for once.
So as Christmas approached, Kiron hid away from his family. He figured it was for the best. One day, he got a letter in the mail. Inside the envelope was a single doily, a small note wrapped up inside.
Kiron blew out a frustrated breath and flung it on to the table as he grabbed the note. He read it carefully, eyes flicking quickly over the page.
Dear Sir Kiron,
You have been formally invited to the Carroll's annual christmas party. As usual, this is a requirement, not an option. We are glad to inform you that the decorations will be doily based. We figured you would like that best. We cant wait for your arrival.
Kiron let out an irritated puff of breath. His family always did this.
Soon, christmas had arrived. And as he arrived at his families winter home, he couldnt have had more worry in his heart. He cursed under his breath as he walked through the door. Everything was so lacey and doily-like. He shuddered and faked a smile. His parents approached with bright smiles. After awhile, it seems contagious. Even though he hated doilies, he loved his family.
' I guess this wont be that bad after all. '
The ExplanationKiron sighed, glancing at you (the reader) carefully. He looked back out his window. " I haven't always hated doilies, you know. As a child, I loved them. I loved the swirling cloth and such. " He shuddered, as if the memory itself was too much to bear.

It all changed the summer of his tenth birthday (human years, just in case there are other years for kalons). It was surprisingly cold, as it was mid-summer. But he was still out beneath my favorite willow, crocheting doilies all the while. Two kids from his class, bullies as he called them, approached with smirks. He knew this wasn't going to be good.
" Aww, look at the little girl, knitting beneath her girly little tree " the largest stated. " Yea " the other scoffed. Kiron stood up. gently setting down his crocheting tools. The smaller bully kicked them away. " I'm not a girl! " he protested. They pushed him into the tree. The smallest one picked up the doily and tossed it at Kiron's face. " What even is this? " Kiron frowned and quickly picked it up. Its a doily! " They both burst out laughing. The largest pushed him into the tree again. " If you know whats good for ya, stop acting like a girl and do something useful. " They both strode away, laughing. Kiron ran. He left his doily and his only crocheting kit by the tree. Tears nearly blinded him, but he made it home anyways. And from there on out, he never made or bought amother doily again. And from there, his hatred grew for them.

Kiron sighed. " And that is what happened. There are other reasons of course. I'm sure that either way that I would have outgrown them. It was just a kickstart in this direction. Those two really did change me. And I'm not proud of what I did. I gave up instead up fighting back. But I was young, I had no idea what to do. That is all. I'm sorry for wasting your time. "
