Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Their shining tails are used for identification and showing off,
which is helpful when spotting another Kalon from afar. This
association with other Kalons is why they are head-over-heels
for any shiny or colorful item that they come across!

His Favorite Meal -- Niko enjoys goulash as a meal because the rush of warm juices, the gentle taste of tomato, the soft feel of macaroni that fills his mouth each time he sits down for a bowl bring him back to the days as a kit, when the most he had to worry about was making it outside in time to play hop-skotch with his friends, or finding the prettiest rock he could scout out in hopes of impressing his weekly crush to claim his or her heart. It brings him the soothing, delicate voice of his mother again, how her syrupy-sweet words of comfort whipped up the best medicine to help him recover from his scrapes earned while roughhousing and get back up on his paws. It may be a rather simple dish, but Niko is more than happy to fill his stomach with blissful memories of who he is, and where he came from. Its simplicity allows for him to make it any day he is feeling glum or especially nostalgic, and that's just fine with Niko.

Their favorite meal -- Honestly? He's a sucker for pasta bake, it's easy
to make, and who cares about presentation? It tastes nice,
and you can add so much variation to it! Want bacon in it?
Nice, you can. Pepperoni? Sure. It also comes with a whole
plethora of sides - like garlic bread - well, specifically
garlic bread. That stuff is honestly the worst to breath though,
and Micha likes to keep his breath nice and minty... so he
usually lays off the pasta bake until Saturday - because he
doesn't really do anything then. Pasta Bake can get
quite messy - but that makes it even funnier to make, although
he tends to make it out of the way of others. He does have
a small reputation to uphold, afterall.

Why it's their favorite --

Being a foreign exchange student mean giving up something for a chance to learn something else. Kiko is currently an exchange student that came from Thailand. This specific dish holds a special place in his heart no matter how much of a foodie he may be. When his host family took him to a place that served this meal he nearly cried. The multiple elements of the plate reminded him so much of his home land and true family. Pad Thai is something he and his mother made all of the time when he was a young kit to mark special occasions such as a birthday or a family reunion. Each part of the dish brings back different pieces the reflect the feeling of home. The chicken being his small farm life, the peanuts bring back the sweetness and love from his mother, the noodles representing the unity of his small family. Pad Thai makes his time away from home a little easier
