Hobby: Cashew isn't really into social media or video games. He prefers to make candles instead! He remember when his grandmother taught it to him. His whole family was preparing for a huge hurricane. And because Cashew was so little, he couldn't do anything big like putting up boards, however, he could make candles just in case the lights went out! Cashew and his grandmother were sitting in the living room of their owner's house, preparing to make candles. They sat across from each other, a small tray and double boiler sitting between them. "Okay Cashew." she spoke, in a soft tone. "You ready to learn how to make candles?" As she said these words, Cashew's eyes lit up. He quickly nodded. Cashew's grandmother slightly chuckled at Cashew's enthusiasm. "Alright." Cashew's grandmother said as she picked up a small block of wax. "First, you want to melt the wax." She smiled as she said this, and put the wax in the hot double boiler. Cashew looked at her as he picked up his wax. He then carefully put it in the boiler with his grandmother's wax. Cashew looked at her, and she gave him a smile of approval. "Now, as the max is melting, lets put the wick in our jars." Cashew's grandmother picked up one of the small glass jars she had sitting beside her. She picked up one of two wicks. This wick was much longer then what Cashew would have expected. The wick had a small white sticker on the bottom. Cashew expected it to be there so it could stick to the bottom of the jar. "Now, you want to carefully place the wick in the jar. Make sure it's centered." Cashew's grandmother spoke in her soft tone. Cashew nodded, and pulled his small jar in front of him. He then carefully picked up the wick. He looked at his grandmother, who nodded, signifying him to go on. He carefully put the wick on the bottom of the jar. He checked it to make sure it was centered. "It looks like our wax is done melting." His grandmother said as Cashew was checking to make sure his wick was centered. "We don't need any fragrances, these candles will only be used for light." Cashew grandmother said, with half closed eyes. She carefully picked up the double boiler, and slowly started to pour the melted wax into both of their jars. Cashew's eyes lit up. He was quite excited. Cashew's grandmother finished pouring the wax into the jars, and after a couple of minutes, the wax looked dry. "Now, the wick is still a little longer than it should be, so we are going to cut it." She gave Cashew a warm smile, and picked up the scissors. She proceeded to cut hers, then she handed them to Cashew. He smiled, and then cut his wick. His grandmother congratulated him. Ever since then, Cashew has been making candles.
