Why the potions?: Regius has kept his potions for many reasons.
When younger, he was obsessed with witchcraft, and all about it. Why
witches were burnt at stakes in that silly time way back then. And why
his last name was in that book... He was introduced to Lyonell Lynch.
One of the first recorded men burnt for witchcraft. Also known as his
great uncle. This inspired Regius, for many different reasons. He felt
the treatment was unfair to Lyonell, and that he deserved more. More
than that, anyway. It was so... Uneeded. Unwanted. During what little
childhood he had, he was obsessed with making 'potions'. Rose petals
and lemon juice. Mint and grass juice. He had many, but everyone
dubbed them perfume-and Regius absolutely detested it He swore one
day, that he would create the perfect potion that would prove them
right. He had learnt how to make a red apple turn green. He was
overjoyed, and rushed to show everyone-his parents, first. They loved it
and encouraged him to bring it to class. But it failed. When one of his rowdier
classmates saw it, he started calling him witch. That was the day regius had
been informed that his father had died... And his mother had left. Regius was
in wrecks. He, since then had to be the parental figure for his younger sister,
and what little childhood he had had was gone. He still holds onto his potions,
hoping one day that they will bring back a childhood for him. Sometimes they
do explode on him, sometimes leaving his clothes colour stained.
