After Pearl's parents disappeared, she came across her mother's oyster. The oyster she never went anywhere without. It became apparent to the viscet that her mother considered the oyster as family heirloom. An unspoken important item.

The fact that it's a heirloom wasn't most important thing to her, it was the history behind the oyster shell. For a long time, Pearl searched for any information behind the origins of the oyster. She even gone as far to join ranks as a Voyager alongside Hazel in hopes to pick up more information. Why was this oyster so important to her family? Is there some sort of connections to the shell?

The only thing Pearl is aware; there is indeed a pearl inside the oyster, and nobody has bothered to crack it open to sell the contents. They just, held onto the shell as if it was their soul, for unknown reasons.

There are rumors, though, that the youngest prince has survived- Lucius Boreas Fractalus. These rumors, whether there’s truth in them or not, have reinvigorated the grieving citizens, giving rise to another rebellion, working in secret to find the prince, who they’re hailing as the rightful king.

He might not be alive. Lucius could have perished on the Ice Plain, fleeing the city. But Paja hopes that he still lives. Because the most important thing right now is bringing stability back to her country- and the prince is her best hope of seeing that happen.
