These two little beans are looking for a home!

To adopt, you can choose between:

•An art dominant form
Your form will mainly be based around art and less about writing. If you find it easier to show characters or stories through art, this is the form type for you!
Rules & guidelines for art forms:

•you may decorate using images / fontmeme or similar things
•text can be used but the text shouldn't be anymore than 300 words total
•at least half of your art should be by you
•a few small images are okay but please link to larger images to prevent lag!
•I don't want to see art of the bean just sitting, show some character or a story through it!
•remember, this is a visual form! try to make the form nice looking! (not required but preferred)

•A writing dominant form
Your form will mainly be based around writing and stories, not so much on art. This form is better for users that prefer writing over art.
Rules & guidelines for writing forms:

•you may only use the basic CS coding for your form: font size, font colors, keyboard symbols, etc.
•art is limited to 4 pieces
•there isn't a word limit!
•this isn't a rule but please try to make an interesting character!

Brownie points if the bean has a Spanish name and/or you have a partner trying out for the opposite baby

EDIT: If you are pairing up with someone, you both still have to post a form(can be either type of form)! The bean you want should be the main focus of the form but can include the bean your partner is trying out for (relationship, art, and parent wise)
You are also allowed to get help with your form from your partner if needed!

»Can we make offsite forms → Yes as long as it's clear who did which form and the form type

»Can we use CS item images, etc. in writing forms? → No, with writing forms only things coming from the keyboard can be used (not counting the art limit) symbols such as these are allowed however

»If my partner is working on a different type of form than me, can they still help? Yes, that is the point of partners after all! Partners can help each other a little with forms.

»Can my partner and I have different form types/the same form type? How would that work? → Yes, if you are trying out you're basically making the form as you would for a normal bean. If you have a partner you are using the other beans character your partner has come up with regarding relationships, as well as having the same parents; instead of coming up with how the two would act towards each other on your own

»If I draw art of both babies that both my partner and I use in our forms, would that count towards their writing form art limit? → Yes, if art of the bean they are trying out for is in their form, it will count.

【 performance 】
a tall man in a tailcoat strode onto the stage. his face was covered
by a mask with a skull painted onto it, as well as a few bright colours
dotted here and there. in his breast pocket sat a small red flower,
which was bright and newly picked.

he extended an arm, causing his sleeves to slide up his arm, now
showing his spotlessly clean white gloves. he began to speak, his
british accent smooth and posh; "ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
i present to you, the act that you've all been waiting for..." the
audience gasped. people began to drumroll using their hands on their
laps. the man silenced them with a sweep of his arms, then spoke
again. "...the dia de los muertos twins!" the audience exploded
into cheering and clapping. the twins ran on stage, waving at their
fans.

the two stopped and stood in the middle of the stage. then the darker
twin stood on their tip-toes to whisper something in the masked man's
ear. the man nodded briefly and walked off to backstage. the speakers
switched on, and music flooded the room. it was happy, cheerful,
and catchy. the audience began to clap along to the music. the
twins sprang into life. they danced smoothly and gracefully - not
a single mistake was made.

so far, the twins' elegant moves were pretty simple. but then the
music sped up, and the darker bean slid back his left foot, and stretched
out his arms. the blue bean ran towards him, and within seconds, she'd
done a handstand, been lifted up and was now stood on her twin's
shoulders. the crowd clapped and cheered as she leaned back,
stepped onto his hands, and within seconds, backflipped and landed
on the ground neatly. she bowed, a slight blush visible on her face.

and that was just the beginning. for the rest of the performance,
their act got better and better. that was only their dance act. just
wait until you see their circus act...

【 story of the circus act 】
plop. another raindrop hit sol's face. it slid down his cheek and dropped to
the floor. the cardboard box that they were using for shelter was beginning
to leak. he looked across the street. people were walking around with
warm, fluffy coats, large umbrellas that could shelter three people, boots
that kept the water out, thick trousers that weren't soaking wet, and little
luxuries like scarfs, hats ant mittens. they didn't realize how lucky they
were to have all that. sol looked down at the tin can he had set outside.
it wasn't even 1/2 full - and all the money that was in there didn't even
come up to a dollar. he was grateful for every penny, but it wasn't enough
to feed both him and his sister. sol turned to look at maldición. she was
laying down next to him asleep, with her head rested on a scrap piece of
material. her breathing was quiet and steady. he curled up beside her,
and began to sleep.
he woke up to the faint sounds of clapping and cheering. it had woken
maldición as well. across the road was a large tent. people were queuing
up outside the tent. sol looked at his sister. "should we go and see?" he
asked. she stayed silent, but nodded. he picked up the tin of money,
pouring it into his zippy pocket on his trousers. "alright, let's go." wip

Maravilla is Spanish for several words, depending on the context it’s used in. Firstly, it means “Marigold”, her birth mother bestowing this name on account of her gorgeous marigold petal-like markings. It also means “Wonder” or “Wonderment”, giving hail to her incredible curiosity and excitement to explore the world. Lastly, it can mean “Marvel”, which refers to an astonishing thing. Perhaps this meaning of her name fed some desire in her to amaze the world around her as it does her. Even if not, clearly she and her brother are already rocking the boat of life!

Personality
To an outsider, Maria gives off a fairly unpredictable yet energetic aura. She’s hundreds of layers of emotion and spontaneity packed into a single soul, plus a boundless imagination to boot. Her daringness and sense of adventure always are getting her into trouble as she follows every playful impulse she has. It also makes her a riot in social settings, where she is endlessly gregarious and cheerful. She almost never stops talking in rapid fire Spanish if given the opportunity.

But don’t let her silly, easygoing exterior fool you. Underneath the bushels of affection and creativity lay ambition and strength tenfold. Her highly sensitive nature leads to her quickly taking offense to any attack on her or those she loves. Her impatient aggression at times almost seems overwhelming. Even if she doesn’t mean to, sometimes she can come off as incredibly bossy and stubborn to nearly obsessive levels.

It’s crucial that her bravery is not mistaken for heartlessness. She bears herself with confidence and determination that few can equal, even though she may be on the verge of an anxiety attack. Her deeply emotional nature makes her incredibly loving of those she grows close to and loyal to a fault. And most importantly of all, in spite of those bounds, Maravilla’s an independent spirit who only answers to the call of her family.

Language
Growing up in a primarily Spanish household lead to the twins favoring the language over English. However, in picking their natural language over the most common language around them in the United States, Mary and Deste often find themselves at a serious communication barrier with others. It’s difficult for them to make friends because other young beans perceive their Spanish to be targeted to keeping secrets and gossiping to one another. Adults that do not know them well tend to grow frustrated with their rapid tongues, ending up much like the young beans in distrust. Even with their adoptive mother, there is sometimes tension because of this.

However, the language gap is piece by piece being bridged to make the young beans comfortably bilingual. Hima is careful to spend time in coaching the twins to use English at home and in social settings, even if only in simple sentences. She rarely lets them default to Spanish in public, and if they grow quiet in refusal to speak she will pull them aside to work out the problem. Hima herself is picking up on some Spanish to aid in the transition, which to the twins despair prevents some of their mischief. Maravilla is still rocky on language, switching between Spanish and English mid-sentence, but she is determined to learn.

Papel Picado
Perhaps the only somewhat feminine art that Maravilla picked up from her first home was her beautiful cut paper. It’s one of the few activities that can satisfy her ADHD and any anxiety she builds up. Primarily, she loves to cut flora and fauna into her work, but she also enjoys traditional Dia del los Muertos skeletons when the season is right. Mar-Mar hopes that maybe one day she can sell it professionally. But for the moment, her creations line every wall and ceiling in Hima’s home with her brother’s paper dancers.

Stories
Maria adores her brother’s voice and music that is true. However, she never found herself inclined musically. Rather she came to love the words and poetry weaved behind the notes and voice in song. She’s a born poet that can remember a conversation in a heartbeat. Also, she adores storytelling and has a knack at spinning wild adventures out of thin air for everyone to enjoy.

“I want to be a veterinarian astronaut who’s also a tortured artist! Oh and I want to shoot lasers from my eyes!”

Maravilla used to be very fearful of the future. At first, she was horrified that she would never live up to her parent’s expectations. Then, when she saw that she couldn’t reach their standards, she became afraid of never being happy or succeeding in anything. She even sometimes got scared that nobody would love her anymore, even her dear brother. All of these tumultuous fears were well hidden, for the most part, under a smile. Deste made it a point that when Mar-Mar was losing to these fears, he stepped in to remind her of how good the future could be.

When they ran away, Maravilla mostly feared that they would never find a sanctuary, even though they pushed bravely through each day on the road. She quietly cursed being blown from place to place like a dandelion on the wind. But, they found their sanctuary after all.

Now Maravilla looks forward to every day eagerly. Her dreams flourish like bouquets in the new home. One day, she will tell everyone that she wants to be a writer. The next, a pink dinosaur that eats bubble gum all day. But it’s clear that she’s rarely ever scared anymore of dim futures. All that can be said for certain is that she will continue to bloom in the garden she calls her family.

I just wanted to offer a quick thank you to everyone who made this form possible! Of course, thank you Snivelgriff for being an epic partner in the last two months, and thank you Kaon for providing us the perfect mother for our potential darlings forms. Maravilla could never have blossomed as she did without your guys helping! Also, I would like to offer a shout out to my best five friends for giving me feedback on my form and proofreading every aspect, Spanish and not. And goodness, thank you to all of the amazing people who made art for our forms! These could be our very first JBDs, so it means so much to me that all of these people helped realize these little rebels!
