Since I had an eye on him for quite some time now, I needed to do some art now^^

Moonlight, known at the time as 'Grey' was alone. His herd had just abandoned him, his parents, his sisters, his friends, everyone. He was too old to stay in the herd, he could take care of himself. But he was not used to being alone. Grey needed to find a herd, with mares. But that would be some time. So Grey decided to join a group of colts for a while, untill he got bigger. So that's what he did. But, over time, the colts got their own mares, and left. Once again, Grey was alone. Grey wasn't a leader, but he was smart. He went near the place humans kept their horses, and hung around there for a few days. The mares soon took a fancy to him,and asked him to join them in the warm barn, but Grey refused. He knew if he did,he would be kicked out by the humans, the same way he was kicked out of his herd. Yet he was alone. The third time Skye, a blue roan mare, asked him to join them, he did. Grey jumped the fence, and stayed with the mares. The groom didn't notice the new horse, but the Tall Woman, the horse's owner and trainer, did. She liked Grey right away, and renamed him Moonlight. She has kept Moon and loved him ever since, and Moonlight was never alone again.
