A Makoatl is a terrestrial shark-dragon hybrid recently discovered
off the coast of the greenland sea. They have the powerful tail
and jaws of a shark, with the body and (occasional) horns of a dragon.
They usually have manes, and are covered in thick coats of fur-
adapted to keeping out the cold in their native habitat.
They live on a diet of mainly meat and fish, and are known to be vicious
hunters! Despite this attitude toward their prey, however, they
are very protective and mothering to their offspring,
as well as to each other the majority of the time.
This is based off of a gray fox. :D

"Alright then. Let's get started. How would
you describe your personality?"Passionate;; showing or caused by strong feelings or a strong belief.
"I tend to feel maybe too much, especially with something that I feel so strongly about. I can't help it,
and it's really a horrible habit and a bit overwhelming.
But it makes me put 100% into whatever I'm participating in, so I get
a little extra help getting things done without even meaning to."
Stoic;; a person who can endure pain or hardship without showing their feelings or complaining.
"You may think this is contradicting to myself being passionate, but let me explain. When I am upset,
angry, hurt, anything like that, I keep it completely compressed and hidden. I try very hard
not to let my emotions control me, because anger or fear are definitely factors that could ruin something
that I've worked hard to achieve. I can't let things like that get in the way of say... rescuing a puppy
from a burning fire. If I let my fear of the fire overwhelm my desire to rescue the puppy, the puppy would die.
But, let's take that example again. Say the puppy died. I couldn't let my sadness consume me. I need to
focus on the fact that I tried to rescue the puppy in the first place, and that I would try again if I had to."
Compassionate;; feeling or showing sympathy and concern for others.
"Being compassionate has brought meaning to my life. I wouldn't have achieved everything I have today if
I wasn't compassionate. And you know, I like having feelings, and having sympathy. People need
it in the world we live in today. I like being nice to people and caring about them."
Rash;; displaying or proceeding from a lack of careful consideration of the possible consequences of an action.
"Do you want me to use the puppy example again?"
Charismatic;; exercising a compelling charm that inspires devotion in others.
"Do a good deed, and it will inspire other to do something good for someone else, too. That's
how I see it. Have you ever noticed that? Give someone a doughnut, and they'll feel good and want to
share that doughnut (and the good feelings) with others.
Irreverent;; showing a lack of respect for people or things that are generally taken seriously.
"Okay, this sounds weird right? I have very little respect for rude people. For people who do cruel
things for their benefits, who don't show any kind of compassion. So I don't give them the time of day.
They don't deserve it. I'll break their rules and not have an inch of guilt about it."
Blunt;; uncompromisingly forthright.
"This is probably the worst characteristic about me- I am horribly blunt. I feel like the best way to help
people is to not sugar coat things, and to just get right to the truth. If you do end up sugarcoating things, it
ends up hurting people more than it does being straightforward with them."
Compelling;; evoking interest, attention, or admiration in a powerfully irresistible way.
"Ah, well, I'm apparently very interesting. I get compliments all the time for doing what I do. I don't
know what it is, but it just draws people to me."
Modest;; unassuming or moderate in the estimation of one's abilities or achievements.
"I don't think what I'm doing is 'amazing' or 'inspiring' or anything like that. I just feel like so little people in
the world care about the things that need caring for, and someone has to, you know? I'm just doing what needs to be
done. Simple as that."
"Can I be honest? I don't really like thinking about things. People are always obsessing about
their future, and how they're going to spend their lives. I don't want to live like that, with
that constant worry. What is the fun in that? How is that really living life?" He chuckles.
"In my opinion, it's not. I just put one paw in front of the other and live life day by day."
"Before you had said you tended to be blunt and irreverent. Do you ever get on people's
bad sides because of that? How do you deal with it?"
"Of course. Most people don't like hearing the truth, or acknowledging that what
they are doing is wrong. I have a long list of enemies, but I don't let it bother me.
If they can't accept what I have to say, then I'm wasting my time talking to them.
There is so much more out there to be worried about."
He leans forward, suddenly intense.
"You want to know what I worry about? I worry about us.
About who and what we are becoming."
"What happens when you voice your opinions to other people?"
"Ah." He pauses, leaning back and relaxing a little. "People don't take kindly to the things I have to
say. I've gotten beat up countless times, but in their defense, I initiated it."
"What's the most rash thing you've done?"
"I traded a piece of my tail for a group of experimental fish."
The interviewer leaned back, astonished. Then noticed a nick was missing from Zeke's tail.
"Ah, yes. I don't lie. The fish had jellyfish genes injected into them, and can now glow.
But it was painful and unnecessary for the fish, so I did what I thought I had to."
He grinned.
"I'm sure you've been asked before, but, why is it that you devote your life to things that could be on your menu that same day?"
"I have been asked that before, but I don't mind answering it again. Like I said earlier, I compress my feelings down, almost all the way down to my toes. But when I'm hunting, I'm a completely different person from the nice, friendly Zeke that I show to others. Those compressed feeling make me a very vicious hunter, and when I'm hungry, I will eat. Whether it be the baby seal I rescued from a net, or the bird that I strayed away from plastic. People raise chickens, but those chickens end up getting eaten eventually. It's the same for me. Think of it as conserving the prey.""
