No, her parents did not name her that. Being the rebel she is, Sapphire threw off her given name and gifted herself a new one. She did not enjoy being called Taylor Skye Bryant.
A sapphire is a precious gem, && she is just the same. She is a very brave girl, and challenges all things in life, even the ocean.
Sapphire's middle name is Blood, to show that she will be aggressive to protect what she believes is right. She does not fear blood, instead, she embraces the terror of it.
A thorn, especially on a rose, can be a killing machine. The rose itself is very beautiful, but when enemies get near, the thorn will show and scare all unwanted things away, make them bleed, hurt them. Sapphire is a very "prickly" girl, who chooses only to be good with her true friends, and occasionally family. Or, at least, the members she can tolerate. Others, she will attract with her fascinating beauty, and pounce on them right before they get too close.
Sapphire values her name greatly, like a masterpiece she created. She molds her personality to fit her name.
She does not enjoy the nicknames she's picked up at all. If you call her one, she will think you don't like her self-made name, and she may just give you a knuckle sandwich, all of your body, again and again. But, if you must call her something else, abbreviate her name, into Saph. Sapphire likes that name almost half as much as her first name. ball gowns, trashing the hotel room.
She's a girl, obviously, and a bit offended you needed to ask that. You may think a punky girl has a tomboy nature. No, she's a hard candy with a sweet, sticky, surprising center. On the outside, she's tough caramel drop, seemingly strong, supposedly hard. When you dig deeper, you will find, surprise surprise, an even stronger girl.... But with some girliness.
Her sexuality? She's homosexual/bisexual, but she prefers guys. She has a crush on this guy for the longest time. Sapphire's only shy side shows here. She is scared the boy with think badly of her if he gets to know her, so she's never really talked to him. The only time they've had deep, real, meaningful conversation is in Sapphire's dreams.We don't care. We aren't caught up in your love affair.
She has a British accent, from her heritage, but she's proud of it, even though she's now in America. Her accent's faded, though. You know, kind of a combination between Avril Lavigne's and Bruno Mars' ? She likes to speak with good grammar, especially on forums. But on text or anything else, she doesn't care. She usually smiles a little, like an old woman who remembered the "good times". The only time she has that wide smile is when the guy she likes looks at her. Sapphire thinks she and her lover communicates with eye contact and smiling, but... it's kind of sketchy.
If you want her to laugh, tell her something about her crush. She's not interested in gossip, but getting to know about the one boy she likes? Everyone loves that. You might even hear her giggle, if you're lucky.
She has this obsession with brownies. She doesn't eat them all the time, in fears of getting fat. She enjoys them by baking, imagining how their made. It's odd, we know, but imagining a big factory with all it's machines
&& amazing smells... It's very calming, to Sapphire.
Sapphire
always needs a music to be playing. She doesn't know why, but listening to others feelings,
getting to know them, understand them, it makes her happy. It feels good to her. She also
likes having a kitten at all times. She likes to train them, then give them to homes with more space, more time.
Saph likes knowing she is something's life source.
She doesn't have a full-time pet, as she said. She doesn't have
enough money. Her budget's too small.
Sapphire loves to eat pita bread. Preferably with cream cheese, she likes garlic && lime. She doesn't care that it's unhealthy, and that nobody likes it; she enjoys it, and that's all that matters. Every morning, instead of eating a regular breakfast like the rest of her family, she will get out her newly baked batch of pita bread and dip them in her cream cheese.
Sapphire prefers tea over all other drinks.
Her favorite tea is lemon && raspberry with pomegranate juice
&& the
slightest hint of sugar. But if her tea isn't strong, it's
disgusting.
Saph's favorite music would have to be pop or classical, && she absolutely
hates country music. Her favorite band would
have to be Lorde, her favorite song of theirs would be Royals. Saph loves how she can kind of relate to their songs.
She grew up in a crappy little town in Kentucky, dreaming of being queen. She finds their vocalist amazing, && thinks she's
very pretty. Her voice soothes Saph, for some reason. It's just soft, I guess.
Sapphire's jewel color is black, && she specializes in strength, or, more specifically, motivated strength.
Say a teenage girl is going through a lot, like the death of a friend or family member. She can appear to them via dream
and motivate them.
