"This is ChristainAnimalLover. She hopes to adopt me!" *bounces up and down and runs in circles* "Isn't that fantastic?"
Yes, yes. We get it, you're excited. *tries to catch Minshara, but misses* Ugh, you'll have to ignore her, it's the only way she'll stop. Anyway, you can call me "Cal", it's shorter...
*starts bouncing again, then looks up pleadingly* "Cal, can I go home with you yet?"
Not yet sweetie-pie, we have to get your adoption aprroved first...
"I won't tell." *gives a mischievous look, then motions that her lips are sealed.* about ten seconds later... *gasps and gets excited* "Ok, ok I'll tell you! It's Minshara. "Min", like "Just a minute"; "shh", like "Shhh!! Be quiet!"; "arr", like "How are you?"; and "uh", like "Uh-oh". Min-shh-arr-uh, got it?"
I've tried over and over, but she just won't tell me her real name. She insists that her name is Minshara, bu-ut...I just find it hard to beleive it happens to be from her favorite show...
*stands completely still but starts nodding her head, slowly at first then picking up speed*
*looks down to see her nodding* Minshara! Stop giving hints...!
*tries to look natural, but instead she looks like she was caught with her paws in the cookie jar* "Sorry Cal..." *blushes and runs to play*
As you can see, dispite her coat colors, she has a very bubbly personality!

"Minshara means 'You can live on it.' and I love that name!!" *smiles and looks all happy* Isn't she just adorable? *smiles affectionately* The correct definition: "An 'M-Class' or 'Minshara Class' planet is like earth, it can support life. "Class M, from the Vulcan term 'Minshara', is a fictional classification for planets and planetoids in the Star Trek science fiction media. Earth is a textbook example of a Class M world." - from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia." Doesn't that make more sense? *looks bored and grumpy* "Sure, if you want the long, boring, technical version."*starts to say something* Minshar-*cuts Cal off* "Wanna play with me?"*starts to reply* May-*cuts Cal off again* "Please...?" *looks up with "puppy-dog" eyes**sighs in resignation* Alright, what do you want to play?*bounces up and down* "Hide-n-seek!!"
*rolls eyes* "I'm female of course. Can't you tell?"Yes, we know you're a girl...*clears throught and glares*Sorry, a very cute little girl. Better?*nods happily and runs off*
*stands tall and proud* "I am eight years old!"Are you sure your only eight? If I were to just watch and listen to you, I'd say you were closer to ten or elevn... *nods happily* Yep, only eight! When did you turn eight?*thinks for a moment* "Uh...January 18th 2006!!"*checks Minshara's math* Yep, that makes you eight. *grins down at her* My cute little Minshara...She acts older than her age, don't you think?Cal, I'm not cute. *pauses* I'm ADORABLE!!!"*scoops up and cuddles* Yes you are! Very adorable!!
*glances up from a bug she had been playing with* "Normally." Can you be a bit more specific, please?"Ok, I was raised by my parents in a field by a forest. *blinks and cocks head* Better?"Yes, any more details? *squats down and speakes in a super sweet voice* Pretty please? I'd love to know your background...*watches bug for a few more seconds, trying to hide her excitment* three seconds later *the first couple of words all run together as she climbs into my lap to tell her story* Wellitallstarted...!"Whoa!! Slow down so I can understand you..."Ok, sorry. It all started..."*shifts postion and gets settled*"We hatched two years and three days apart. Both on a cold morning, while the sky was still gray and the air brisk. Cognium was still there when I hatched. For a while, six mounths to be exact, everything was perfect! Cognium played with me and our parents cared for us. Then everything went wrong." *pauses*Well, go on!!
"One eavening, after dinner, while my parents were relaxing and Cognium and I were playing, we smelled a strange scent. It was making Mom and Dad nervous but we didn't really care. "Children, let's go." Dad said, trying to stay calm. "Why?" I asked. "Where?" Cognium asked. "Kids, don't argue. Let's just go!" Mom said, trying to keep the peace. Soon, a thick grey cloud started covering the area, hanging low. It burned our eyes and throats. Coughing, we ran to our parents to receive comfort and protection. "Come on. We need to leave." Dad said again, more urgently. This time we all obeyed. We were running with our heads down, trying not to breath the grey cloud. "Mommy, why does the air burn?" I gasped. "It's not the air, sweetie. It's the smoke." She replied. We were running as fast as we could without getting separated, but it wasn't fast enough. Soon we saw yellow light licking at the trees on our right and left. Mom and Dad glanced at each other and, at the same moment, picked us up by our scruffs. They were now running faster and faster, trying to outrun the burning light. Suddenly there was a loud cracking sound, a tree came crashing to the ground in front of us. Mom slowed to avoid being hit, but Dad raced to slip under it before it hit the ground. The tree was fairly big and covered in burning light, there was no way for Mom and I to reach Dad and Cognium. Dad put Cognium down and got as close to the trees as he could. "Go. We'll be ok." he said loud enough to be heard over the crackling light. Mom put me down too. "No, I won't leave you!" Mom replied, fear gripping her voice. "Don't worry, we'll find each other." Dad said reassuringly. The smoke was getting thicker, we all began to cough. "Try not to breath to much, Minshara." Mom said before picking me up again and running toward an unburned patch of forest. I don't know what happened to Dad and Cognium, we never saw them again.

After running for what seemed like hours, we finally came out of the forest. I couldn't recognize anything! There were hardly any trees and no grass. Just hard black ground bordered with grayish-white and striped with yellow. Mom walked to a tall white block and carefully put me down next to a blue rectangle in the white block. We wre both coughing and our eyes stung. Mom was limping now, having warn her paws raw. She scrathced at the blue rectangle a few times before curling up next to me. We both passed out. I vaugly remember seeing some strtange two-legged creature come out of the blue spot on the white block. Mom didn't care, in fact she seemed to trust them so I relaxed. I drifted in and out of consciousness. Fresh, clean air woke me up and I noticed I was rocking back and forth slowly, and there was something strange on my muzzle. I saw Mom on the floor next to me, so I allowed myself to drift off again. The next time I woke up, I was on a soft and comfy surface. There was a two-legged thing sitting next to me. I was scared at first and I couldn't see my mom. I called out for her but heard no answer. I didn't know what to do so I just shrank back from the weird creature next to me. It started to make soft, soothing noises and slowly reached out to me as I relaxed. Soon, it was scratching behind my ears, and stroking my fur. I looked into its eyes and noticed that there was clear liquid dripping from them, it was crying! I ran to it, and crawled into its lap to comfort it. The tears dripped onto my fur as it continued to croon to me.

After several days, I began to trust these creatures, even depending on them for food, water, excercise and love. There was no sign of my mother. I cried myself to sleep every night thinking about her. In a few days, the two-legged creatures and I had a daily routine. I began to understand their language, and they began to understand me. I surprised them when I started talking but they soon got used to it. My regular caregiver started taking me home at night and preparing me for adoption. It was with her that I first discovered Captain Archer and his crew. For my second birthday, she gave me the complete first season. I got some toys and a blanket on my first birthday, along with an explanation of what happened to my mother. It turns out that as soon as she could walk on her own again, she left to look for my Dad and Cognium. I hope she finds them!

For most people, my looks were easy enough to adjust to, but talking sent everyone running! "It was just too strange to have a talking pet." the parennts would always say, even though most of the kids thought it was cool. After a while, my caregiver stopped arranging possible adoptions and just fostered me. She would look for people who might want to adopt me, but with no success. She never said why she didn't just adopt me herself.
Each year for my birthday, I got the next season of
Star Trek Enterprise. Unfortuneatly, they only made four seasons and with a terrible ending!"
Minshara, focus."Huh? What? Oh right! Anyway, I've been here since I was six months old. Cal is the first person I've met, besides my caregiver, who is actually interested in adopting me. I hope you approve her application!" *starts bouncing excitedly*
"My favorite objects are the star ship Enterprise (xXx, xXx, xXx), and my complete collection of the Star Trek Enterprise series on DVD (xXx)! I just love to watch that spaceship soar through the sky."She watches the entire series at least twice a year! I've seen it so many times, I could name all of the episodes, in order, and give you quotes from each one. I would also be able to identify any quote you give me and tell you who said it, and in which episode of which season.

"The Enterprise is a beautiful shape with great curves and slopes. I enjoy watching it go around planets and through nebulas. When the Enterprise goes into warp speed, I just hold my breath. It amazes me to watch how fast such a huge ship can zoom through space so fast. The Enterprise is my absolute favorite thing out in space. It can come and go, travleing in many different directions throughout the day. Nothing else in space moves that much, nor goes in different directions. It is as though the Enterprise traveling around rebels a bit against the naural order of things. Making it more unique, having a entertaining view." Because of her fascination with the Star Trek ship Enterprise, she has taken the nick-name "Minshara" which is a class of planet. *glares up, then gets sad* "It's not a nick-name! It's my name!!"She hasn't told anyone, including me, her real name since she first discovered this series when she two! *sniffs to keep from crying* "But it is my real name!"*picks up and strokes fur comfortingly* Ok it's your real name it's a very cute name.*sniffs again then smiles victoriously* "Told 'ya!!"

"Hey, that's me! I'm sleeping in the park dreaming about my days with the Enterprise crew!!"Yes, it is. Click it for a better veiw of her dream...
"Every night after getting ready for bed, I lay on my back and look out my moon-roof until I see a shooting star. I then wish on it as it passes." *laughs lightly* And what do you wish for?*gets defensive * "You know the rules about wishing, I can't tell. If I tell it won't come true!!" *looks like she's hiding something* "Alright, I'll tell you. But don't tell anyone else, and you better hope it comes true..! Or else!"*raises hands in submittance* I promise I won't tell a soul...*looks skeptical* "Cross your heart?" *crosses heart* Yep!*seems satisfied* "Ok, I wish I could go on the real Enterprise and explore the stars with Captain Archer(xXx) and his crew!!"*smiles and scratches neck* What a wonderful wish, Minshara.*sits proud and smiles ear-to-ear* Extras:
