What is a Sora Neko?

Sora nekos are what all of the felines of the world originate from, they are an ancient species, only recently discovered. They are much like the felines of today except that they defy the laws of science, like they can fly and unnatural phenomenon seem to happen around them, some classing it as 'magic'.

Well then.. I think this is me trying to jump into my official artist position at Sora Nekos with a bit of a bang. It's winter over here and i can hear the rain pouring outside. I love it <3

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. there were a lot of clashing insparations, but it didn't work out to badly, in the end^^

This lady goes by the name of
Enigma. "Nazo" is another name
that is often refereed to her.
However she is often known
by "Enni" short Enigma.
She walks the earth with no
knowledge of her real name.

"As one can see, Enigma is a female"

She is a female within her human
and Sora forms.

Her age is, however not certain.
She states that it is 21;
Hence, 252 in Sora years.

Zodiac: Scorpio
Birthday: 18th (November)
Favorite color: Lavender as well as deep purples.
Speech: Refers to herself in 3rd person.
Favorite flower: Butterfly bush (Purple~)
Favorite pastime: Reading and learning new spells.
Favorite weather: Rainy weather at midnight is the best.

The female set aside her book, brushing away the pesky streak of hair that danced freely as if taunting her. The power swirled around her in the usual purple clouds. The human feline was lively and always seemed open to others, and yet, the dark secrets lay within; No one has ever come to uncover them, not even herself. Despite the dual color of her eyes, one could see perfectly well; however, each eye was better adapted in different environments. Within the darkness, the black eye could see much better than the white, during the day light it was opposite.
She was ready to share her story.

Enigma.

No one could even figure out the shaman girl. She was the wise Sora Neko; though often preferred to take a form of a human. This was one of her abilities, created quite by accident. The event has escaped her memory, though flashes of power occur within her memory.



Her personality swayed with the wind. She was care-free and simple though kept many secrets.
Enni(gma~) was one of the feared; she was powerful with the calm demeanor of grace.
A true wise warrior. She was good with spells as well as potions. At the time she was a simple shaman woman. However she had encountered a female that had changed her life entirely.

Sel is still young, being around 5 years according to Sora Neko custom. He is also male, despite what many others may think.

"I was found by another Moon Gazer; one of the Night...
The hour was late, with nary a sound to be heard. I walked
the stars, as I always did, when the great Moon turned
purple; the water below shifted to shades of violet to
reflect the ever-changing sky. It was then that I saw her;
sitting alone, in a glade of white Moon flowers that glowed
purple under the light of the purple full moon. She was
dressed in a strange dress; it seemed old, and new, and
blue. Her hair was dark, either black or some shade of
brown. As I started my descent towards her, overcome
by my mild curiosity, she looked up. Her eyes were a
strange blue-grey, in contrast to her dark hair. I blinked
slowly; her appearance was fair, and she made no
movement at the sight of me. She seemed only surprised
and a little confused. I alighted on the ground, ready to
fly at a moment's notice; I had not had pleasant encounters
with Man. However, she only sat silently as she watched me,
and I watched her. When she finally began to move, slowly,
I tensed, ready to flee. In her hand was a leather-bound book,
a piece of black charcoal in the other. She looked down at her
book, and started to move the small black piece across the
page. It took me a few moments to realize that she was
drawing me. After some time, I began to inch my way towards
her. She glanced up occasionally, but seemed not to notice.
Finally, I was at her side; she had a half-drawn picture of me
on the page, of how I looked as I was landing. I couldn't help
but purr, some vain part of me appreciating what I saw. I
settled down beside her as she began to finish up what she
had started; adding depth and shadows and light. At some
point, I must have decided that I liked her. I settled myself
up against her side, and as she finished her drawing, we
watched the stars together. I decided to stay with her from
that point on. She still allows me to come and go as I please,
as she seems to realize that I enjoy my freedom. She
became one of my only friends of this world; her and my Moon
and Stars."

Sel would become one of the few Nekos I would RP; I would
develop his personality and history, just as I did for Iris and
Enoch. I will definitely be making him into a Patriarch, to
have all kinds of babies, and to spread those pretty
markings to other Nekos (as well as those whiskers!).
He would also become one of the very few male Nekos I have,
as well as one of my first adopted ones.
