Woke up sweaty
tangled in sheets,
go up to the kitchen
to get some midnight treats.
Heard a whisper in my ear,
turned around, suddenly
immediately hit with fear,
Face to face with a girl
innocence in her eyes
I guess her appearance
just took me by surprise.
Glowed like an angel,
hair blowing in the wind.
What's this gift from heaven
God did so greatly send?
I fell to my knees
simply struck by awe.
Look up at her
then suddenly saw.
Her figure was transparent
she wore chains wrapped around her thighs.
Saw nothing but darkness in her eyes.
But somehow some innocence
I reached out for her hand
she drew back her arm
slapped me away,
guess it didn't go as planned.
Ran towards the window,
but I wouldn't let her get away.
Looked me in the eye
and softly she did say
'You need to let me go,
I'm honestly nothing but trouble.'
But I didn't pay attention
her stunning beauty made me see double.
Decided to let her go,
though in the back of the mind,
I know,
one day she will be mine.
And our love will be stronger
than anyone can define.
