Deer Lions?
What is a Deer Lion?
A Deer Lion is exactly what it sounds like, a lion that resembles slightly a deer. Because they are omnivorous, their diet includes both meats and vegetation, such as fruits and grasses. They have fur all over their bodies, it being longer around their chest, bellies, and their puffy bobbed tail. The males have both antlers and manes. The manes are usually darker than the rest of their body. They have the ears, tail, and temperament of a common mule deer, but they are in the cat family. Anatomically though, they are most similar to the saber toothed cat. The antlers they have are made mostly of bone, and the size is determined by the age of the stag lion. These antlers rarely grow past 10 inches long, and they always grow back, toward the tail. Male Deer Lion are called Stags, and females are Does. The young are called a variation of different things, most often cubs or fawns.

A doe can mother at most 5 litters (at most 15 cubs) in her life.
A stag can father an unlimited number of cubs.
Deer lions reach adulthood at around 5 years old. They are able to breed at 3. But i will not allow breeding until 4.
The average life time is 25 years.
The human to deer lion year ratio is for every human year, they age 4 years
❥ Fur Coat Patterns:
There is no restriction as to the variety of colors in the patterns or designs that show up on the coat of the deer lions.
Solid colors are hard to come by though, so if you find one with a solid coat, you'd better try your luck hard for that one.
How do I adopt?
If you wish to adopt, please post your form on the oekaki page of the DL you would like to adopt. You will be competing with other people too, so do your best to be the best ^^
However, if the creator has a quiz or something that you must win to adopt, a form is not needed.
Here is the form you must fill out:
❥Breeding
I am going to allow Deer Lions to be bred.
That means you can either pair together two of your own Deer Lions,
or ask someone else to breed theirs with yours.
This is a very difficult thing to do, so i am going to limit it.
Guidelines for Breeding:
-IF YOU WISH TO BREED A TEENAGE DL, YOU MUST HAVE IT AGED BY THE CREATOR.
-If you already have 4 Deer Lions and you decide to breed, you must give up one of your Deer Lions, or you cannot keep any of the offspring.
-The number of DLs limit for Artists is 2 higher, Guest artists it is one higher.
These breeding limits are for people who are not artists.
-If you have 3 DLs, you may keep one of the babies,
if you have 2, you may keep 2,
if you have one, you may keep them all (though it is unlikely you will get three)
-The number of babies your deer lion has depends on how compatible the parents are.
-If you breed with another user, you need to discuss the custody with the other person. Perhaps split them evenly if you can.
-Gestation may take a few days. They are not born as soon as you decide to breed them.
- You cannot breed two Deer Lion of the same gender. Sorry, it is just not possible.

Nobody is permitted to use the baby lineart, that is only for breeding purposes.
If you make a teen, prepare to age it, because when someone want's to breed it,
you will need to draw it all over again as an adult
I will attend to all breedings.
Please make sure your background is white.
Please make it known that those with horns and manes are males, and those without them are females.
Also, please keep the add-ons to a minimum. I like to give people the option to add accessories themselves.
And lastly, the name of the oekaki page for your design must me " Deer Lion #(whatever number it is)"
ALL ARTISTS ARE ALLOWED TWO CUSTOMS
