Personality:
Flashy, spunky, generous, yet shy, this gal is proud of her lovely coat and her smooth, flashy gait. Sometimes she gets really shy, but when alone, she loves to dance and sprint around wherever she pleases. She enjoys listening to music that the birds outside make (and the radio in the barn!), and she also really likes the color and brightness of fireworks! She likes horse shows, where she can show off AND make her rider proud. She is always putting others first and making sure they are taken care of before she cares for herself -- she makes a great surrogate mother and one day wants to be a mommy! She easily identifies with both stallions, geldings, and foals, as she is kind and energetic!
I'm Gonna Gush About Her For A Sec:
Can I say OH MY GOD I about cried when I first saw her from the main page and I was so hoping I wasn't too late to adopt her... I wasn't! I adore the coloring and how her spots look like fireworks, and her heart on the inside of her thigh, and the flag design and the words on her. Plus her hooves are colored like France's flag, which is pretty rad, too! Idk man I'm just so in awe of this precious baby I'm so hyped.

Favorite Patriotic song:
A tough choice, but I played
Where Never Lark or Eagle Flew (amongst MANY others) with my school concert band my senior year of HS for our Veteran's Day concert (which lasted like two hours... so much music). As a oboe and horn player, and getting to perform this on oboe, this song makes me a happy lil player
but also they trynna blow out my chops like sheesh. ((The part that starts at 6:17 tho.))
Where Never Lark or Eagle Flew is an overture inspired by “High Flight”, a poem written by a young American volunteer pilot with the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII. John Gillespie Magee, Jr., who flew high-performance Spitfire fighters, perished in a mid-air collision at the age of 19. His famous sonnet is now the official poem of the RCAF and RAF and must be recited from memory by freshman cadets at the USAF Academy.
Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth,
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace,
Where never lark, or even eagle flew;
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

What I did for July 4th:
Marched in a parade for my mom's political group! We are a political minority in my area, so besides all the nasty glares, being ignored, and some people yelling at us, it was a really fun time! I gave kids (and seniors) lots of lil bubble bottles, candy, and smiles!
Why I Like July 4th:
No pressure holiday. No presents to buy or family to visit. Lots of food, music, friends, and pretty sparklers and fireworks abound. Parades, cute costumes, what more could you ask?
For your viewing pleasure!Sending love and patriotism from Georgia!
