why does she have the cloak?
Makhaza lives out in the rarely visited part of Alaska.There is a town there,yet it is small and consists of very few.However,she doesn't live in the town--she must use her dogs to get there.Makhaza is a dog sled racer,and a fisherman.She lives out by herself in a little cabin far from the town,and unless she took someone there,they wouldn't be able to find it.She catches fish for the towns only store,and the owner pays her a good amount for them.She uses her sled to get there,and while she could walk as her home isn't but a few miles away,she still needs to feed the dogs--there's no where at home to keep food for them.Seeing as her only source of heat is a small heater and wood burning stove,Makhaza doesn't have a lot of warmth without the cloak.She ties it around herself everyday,and while it may look small and not like much,the fluffy filled thing does a pretty nice job of keeping this tubby Kalon warm throughout her daily adventures,and thus she likes to keep it on her at all times during her busy day.
