Sophie is stubborn and feisty; she gets her way and if she has to buck you out of the saddle to get it, she will. No one controls her, and she gallops like the wind, zig-zags, rears, anything to get you to puke. That's why we gave her that show name; just like a Carnival Ride, you can't control her, she makes you scream--whether it be because your enjoying it or because your terrified--and sometimes riding her makes you want to puke.
Almost nothing scares her, and sometimes that's good, but usually it means she's sticking her nose in things that she really shouldn't be. The one thing I've seen scare her--and this is hilarious--is children. I don't understand it myself, my best guess is it has to do with her previous home; maybe they had a lot of children who crowded around her or pulled her mane or ears or something?

Personality: Phoenix is an interesting little gal. She can be stubborn and feisty, but also a little sweetheart. The mare is a fiery ball of energy 24/7 though, hence her name. It's always a gamble when you saddle her up. Despite this, a lot of riders love her, because if you catch her on a good day, she is just an angel. You could ask her to fly to the moon and she would do her best. Or you could ask her to take a step back and send her flying around the arena. Added to all of this, Phoenix is practically a genius in the equine world. Too smart, if you ask me. Cue her to do something, and she will figure out how to do what you told her to, but not what you wanted her to do. She likes to escape from her stall or paddock too; it's not surprising to walk into the barn one morning and find her roaming the aisle. Basically, this little fireball is a playful, stubborn, lovable piece of work.
