Taylor loves that song because it's upbeat, even when she's sad it makes her soul feel free.
It makes her feel like there's an energy current going through her making her feel alive.
Even when she's sad songs lift her spirit.

Favorite song (No swearing please!): Mad Hatter - Melanie Martinez
Bonus Points: Mad Hatter is Echo's favourite song because of the meaning and before she knew the meaning she thought it described her. She is not crazy, but rather mentally insane. She can't get a grip on life. She is insecure, of course, and tends to hide it quite well. Her insanity is hard to see unless she tells you and you finally notice it's true. Truly, she hates herself because she has no friends because of telling them that she was going crazy. Though she is thought to have no true emotions, she is depressed and hides it well with a fake smile everyday. Most people find her weird and upbeat, which is why she gets friends in the first place, but then she gets too close to them and they find the real her, which is not that pretty. Inside she is not as happy and friendly, but rather rude and has low-self esteem, but this song makes her happier. Her friends that still like her for her play it on bad days when they are with her. She loves dancing and singing to anything Melanie Martinez. It's her escape from bullies and everything. Her friends have grown to it.

Favorite song: Drop Pop Candy ~ REOL
Bonus Points: DPC is Hika's favorite song for one simple reason, because her best friend is the one who introduced her to it~! Despite not being the same species, Hika is the best of friends with a Taiko named Thanatos. The two were born around the same time and they grew up together, so its no surprise that the two are rarely ever seen apart. Hika herself was never very interested in anything Japanese, but Thanatos was and he eventually convinced her to listen to some of his favorite songs and shes been hooked ever since. DPC was one of the first songs he introduced to her and so its got a special place in her heart.155 words

Favorite song (No swearing please!): Forest by Twenty One Pilots - link
Bonus Points: Why is it their favorite song?
Whisp loves Forest for many reasons. Firstly, the beat. There's something about the beat that just resonates with Whisp's soul. Secondly, the lyrics. Twenty One Pilots is Whisp's favorite band, and she always relates to the deeper meaning hidden in all their songs. Forest, however, gives her the feeling that she isn't alone in the things she worries about. She is not the only one who is bothered by small things that others don't think of. She isn't alone in this.

Favorite song (No swearing please!): Mountain Sound - Of Monsters and Men
Bonus Points: Why is it their favorite song? OR A short story involving the song somehow [Max: 200 words]
Ambience is a free spirit with a passion for writing and traveling. She enjoys absorbing new sights, delving in new cultures, freedom in new beginnings, and the thrill of interacting with new people. Every destination is a breath of fresh air after being cooped up in a stuffy airplane for hours.
She constructs imaginary biographies for strangers she meets in her travels, finding it to be a great way to test her prowess at character development. This has led to confusing conversations wherein she automatically assumes that the person will align with the characteristics she's assigned to them. Accidentally calling people by the name she's given them in her head is a frequent occurrence.
Ambience picked up the habit because it frustrates her knowing that every person has a story to tell and that she'll probably never get to hear to it. Making up the stories for them instead helps satisfy her curiosity. Whenever a tourist spot inspires her to fabricate an interesting tale, Ambience is quick to jot down her ideas in her notebook for future reference (she'd rather get busy writing later to give her time to savor her surroundings and let more ideas flow freely).

Favorite song: Pump Up the VolumeBonus Points: Why is it their favorite song? Tomos is a bit of an "old fashioned" DJ who adores house music. Pump Up the Volume was the first house song he heard and it introduced him to a world of unique sounds and amazing people. He credits the song for helping break out of his shell and truly express himself.
