Something interesting about them: Selene has a disorder called Cotard's syndrome, also known as walking corpse syndrome. This is when someone genuinely holds the belief that he or she is already dead, does not exist, is putrefying or has lost his or her blood or internal organs. The cause of this disorder is not yet known, but Selene has believed this since she was only young and also suffers from depression because of it.
This affects her in her day to day life. She's lost interest in just about everything and so doesn't really feel inspired or motivated to do anything with her life.
That is...until she met Axis. Axis also has a disorder called paranoia. This meant that Selene felt more at ease talking to her and she's even developed a crush on her. Axis secretly feels the same way, but they're both too shy to voice this. Axis helped Selene to come out of her shell a little. Knowing of her condition, she would get her friend out and about doing things so she didn't waste away. This made Selene almost forget get condition and have fun. This was great for the girl and still helps her every day.
