Outgoing -
I love to talk! I love to be around others! Even if i may be a bit to loud or have more then an earful to say, i just say im so excited! You never know how long you'll be around that person, maybe it will be the last and only time! Better make it count, i say!

Curious -
Some may think i may grow out of my questioning phase, but it's no phase! Wanting to understand things and see your own opinion on something is totally normal. It may be small and insignifgant for some, but for me, ever detail does count.

Eccentric -
I wear my flower crown a bit crooked. My clothes may be a bit before their time. I talk like i just "know". So what? I want to be fresh and new like a pair of socks! Or something uqiue and yet rarley taken for what it should. I just love...being me!

Friendly -
Maybe outgoing explained it, but that's not all to me. I know i know...i am chatty as a cathy, but believe me! I want to hear what you have to say too! Let's go out on the town, or just chill by the beach i don't care. I'm just so happy to make a friend in you!

Yeh, i have been called some names before. Some people think i'm werid, while others say i should slow down. I feel sometimes they are right. But! I gotta remember who i am. I ain't hurting anyone! Why should i be considered something of a nuisance because they don't understand? It's just silly to worry my pretty flower head over that!

Who am I?

Hey! My name is Milani, you may call me Lani for short though!
I am one of three children of Verona and Renna.
That's right, i got two mamas! Pretty cool if i do say so myself.
As for me, people know me for my easy-going persona and wacky things i get into.
Whether it be questioning the color of water or making little forts out of twigs and grass,
you guess i'll be up to something!
I like thinking, questioning, and figuring out how "things work" and "happen".

Everyday Life for Me

Everyday, you just never know what to expect! For me, it's always colorful and new!
I always got my master plan ready as i make my way into the world!
I live in the more lesser known island of Molokai, in a small shore town called Maunaloa.
Although i do not live with my birth family, i often get to visit them every few weeks!
I am here because i was given a small internship offer at a young age.
I am to one day become a pineapple farming assistant once i turn 12!
This job allows me to be able to be outside alot, learn about the tropical nature of
Hawaii and be in a very small, close community.
When i am not being tutored by the same people who i will work for, i get to have fun!

Hobby

Collecting "treasure" on the beach
Oh yes! Nothing more exciting then going to the beach to have a good swim!
And i always have my googles handy with me!
How come? Simple! To find treasure, duh.
Be it seashells, sea-glass, pretty rocks, my hands are grabbing!
Of course, i am careful. One time i had a bad cut because i wasnt being careful with the shells.
Ouch! But, you live you learn!
Where i live, i have a nice big dresser that has a shelf to hold all of these goodies to show off!
I think my favorite right now i own is a blue and green sea-glass thats shaped like a star! (Kinda...more like a blob!)

Nia is a Kalon that likes to shine like a star. Or as she has put it, she shines brighter than the sun. Even as a child, she holds herself to high standards as how a proper queen must act. Her Queenliness cares far too much about image.

She's not very good at reading the mood or other Kalons' emotions, but is nonetheless very social. Nia genuinely cares for her friends, although she does occasionally make a 'I am superior' remark and believes herself to know much more than her peers. Unfortunately, they do not appreciate her unsolicited advice. Neither do they appreciate her meddling in their affairs, trying to fix broken friendships as find them true love. In Nia's world, she is optimistic that true love is right around the corner and everything can be fixed with a little belief, dedication and pixie dust. Or something like that. She did always like Captain Hook much more.

Regardless, Nia tries to rise above and forgive and forget. However, she only gives three chances and anything can be a black mark in Nia's book, so it is all too easy to run out of chances. But for all that, Nia is willing to go to the ends of the earth for those who do right by her. For Nia, there is only the child's black and white- you are right or you are wrong, you are good or you are bad. Nia angers much too easily, and nothing sets her off like injustice. She'd deafen you with incessant scolding, unafraid to chew anyone out if she believes them to be acting unfairly. But the other, more subtle angers, such as getting irrationally angry over being interrupted or accidentally ignored is something she knows that adults frown upon. She she has to make flower crowns. There is a fresh new flower wreath atop her head each day, and the reason would be she has ripped apart her old crowns in a pique of anger. Petals are strewn around her room and lay in small piles. Oh, woe to the flowers who had not wronged her, but instead she had wronged them! But she does look good in flowers of ruby and gold, or does blood and butter sound better?

Nia has a guilty pleasure, delighting in violent,
scary weather. There is nothing better than cuddling
under a blanket and watching the sky light up with
lightning and crashes of thunder. The little Kalon
loves reading up on tornadoes, tsunamis, floods and
aspires to be a stormchaser someday. There might be
something in the theory of linking her favourite pastime
with her temper.
