She is OBSESSED with blue. She writes with a blue pen, drinks blue drinks... she'd even dye her food blue if she could! She hopes to one day open a shop that would specialize in blue foods. Her favorite food is iced blueberry macaroons and her biggest peeve is dirty water... not because it's disgusting, because it's not blue! Her favorite object she owns is a beach ball with a wave pattern that has several colors of blue on it. She refuses to use any other ball for beach volleyball with her friends. She can and has used other ones, and likes really any kind of ball as long as she can play with it, but when she's playing on the beach for fun they MUST use her beach ball. She often wears a blue flower crown and likes pointing out all the blue things in nature to her friends and family. Because of her adoration of blue, she loves the American flag. While it's not all that blue.... it's suitable. It could've had no blue at all, so Amaya is thankful to her "forfurries" for giving it some. When the Fourth of July rolls around, she often talks about how happy she is that the flag has some blue in it. That way she gets to watch blue fireworks explodenin the sky. She lives very close to where the fireworks are set off every year and she can see them pretty clearly from her pool. Every year the fireworks go off about the same in that each color goes off for a minute or two and then the finale of all three colors at the end. When the blue ones start going off in the blue of the night sky, she sits on the edge of the pool, grabs a blueberry drink and lets herself be surrounded in blue. Because of this, the Fourth of July is one of her favorite days of the year.
