Orion -
Orion is a prominent constellation located on the celestial equator and visible throughout the world. It is one of the most conspicuous and recognizable constellations in the night sky. It was named after Orion, a hunter in Greek mythology.Male
He has the elements of Descry & Nature

Orion is not one to really trust others - sure, they may
say they're innocent and aren't intending to hurt him, but how can he be sure? They could be lying, for all he knows. His sense of judgement causes him to make wrong calls all the time, and others often times tell him off for it. He usually can be found questioning someone who seems in any way shady to him. His voice is loud and easy to hear from a while away, and he has a booming presence.
Whenever he's alone, he can be found lurking in the shadows, glaring at others from a distance. Much like his namesake, he's a "hunter", though not in the 'hunt to eat and survive' sense - more in the sense of 'if you are nearby, you are a threat to me', and he'd hunt to drive someone off - he does not care if he frightens someone to the point of them running from him. He acknowledges that his rather goofy ears that others might insult him, but usually a sharp threat shuts them up.
Once one can get beyond the rather judgmental exterior - if they can put up with him for long enough - he's rather protective. While very few have managed to break through the many walls he's put up, he feels it always leads to disaster. When the walls are broken, he's still generally
very distant, but it's a feat in itself to manage to get through to his 'true self'. He's still rather reluctant, once someone gets close to him, to open up more than he already has, in fear of hurting ones he's grown rather fond of.
Strengths-His thinner frame enables him to run faster than other Gators. He uses this to his advantage to startle others so they'll get out of the way, and further from his personal bubble.
-His elements allow him to hide himself in the cover of the woods he resides in, and he uses his Descry element to temporarily blind others so he can dart away.
-He finds that his fur color helps him blend into the darker portions of the forest, as well as the majority of the areas during the night.
Weaknesses-Quick to judge others, resulting in very few positive relationships with other Gators.
-Easily beaten by Gators who use either Fire or Descry {darkness}
-A bit hard of hearing due to some fluff in his large ears, meaning he is louder than he probably means {but it's not like he cares, since it probably makes people mildly uncomfortable or frightened.}
-Once his emotional walls are broken down, he's afraid of hurting those he's grown close to.
RelationshipsMidas Orion has a huge dislike for Midas. While the multi-tailed Gator is not usually around, every single experience Orion has had with Midas has been severely unpleasant. If Orion had the option to, he would rather stick his head {ears and all} into a pit of worms. Midas, on the other hand, enjoys every encounter with Orion, as he can bloat his ego even more than it already is.
CalypsoOrion isn't sure how to feel about Calypso. She usually isn't near the woods where he lives, and she doesn't seem to care for him much. The two usually share snarky remarks when they do meet, but he's not usually very negatively offset by them - she doesn't really seem to intend on harming him, since she... probably would need a
hand in doing so.
TwigOrion doesn't like the tiny Gator. He seems to always be stealing sticks and twigs from the forest, without giving some kind of item in return. Twig enjoys tracking down the larger Gator and stealing a twig right in front of him before booking it to hide the newly acquired treasure in his messy home. Orion swears that he'll get the little brat back some day... Just not now.
Montreal owned by aviateOrion is a little weirded out by them. He usually tries to avoid them, as he's a little squicked by the neck the other has - the fact that it can puff up and is transparent makes his stomach do a little bit of a flip. He's not sure about how the frog feels about him, but if he can, he'd rather just keep his space from the green Gator.
Vancouver owned by egeThe other half to the 'bizzare creatures' duo, Vancouver is one of the few Gators that Orion is genuinely unsettled by {Montreal being another}. The double voice thing, while usually muted due to his slightly fluffy ears, still catches him off guard. If he had to fight the glowy rat-creature, he probably would, but he'd rather just book it instead of being near them for longer than he should be.

Orion grew up rather secluded, his only companions usually being small creatures that lurked in the forest he lived in. It was a fight for survival, usually, but he used his size to his advantage to flee from any danger that could possibly kill him. He lived his life as best he could, more cheery and open, like a child was known to be.
He'd met another Gator in the woods, one he nicknamed "Bonnie", and they became good friends. The two usually spent as much time as they could together, gathering food to store for the later months and clambering about in the trees. "Bonnie" usually enjoyed attempting to climb the trees, while Orion encouraged them, the two laughing afterward when 'Bonnie' couldn't climb up that far.
Time passed, and soon the two had been friends for a bit over a year - but Orion was noticing that 'Bonnie' was coming into the forest less and less. The final time 'Bonnie' came by, they told him that they didn't need him anymore and that they weren't coming back. Orion had simply stared as the other had left, eyes narrowed. He began to put up emotional walls - why put up with others if they'd just leave him after a while? He'd rather just not have any friends than to hurt himself or someone else in a fit of pure anger.
His home as he grew up in near-solitude was a cave, neatly decorated with some smaller stones and plants scattered about. He'd dug a small pit and stuck a large leaf in it to hold some water, and there was a place for stored food to be kept - it was easier to hoard and store than to simply go out every time he wanted to eat. There he spent many a year on his own, when he wasn't driving others away from his 'territory'.

Orion doesn't usually collect things that he doesn't find necessary, but there's one little "hoard" he has that breaks his special self-placed rules. Whenever he decides to leave the forest for one reason or another, he carries a small pouch and goes around picking up any spare change he finds on the ground. He doesn't really use it for anything, he just simply lets it sit and build up after a while. Hey, maybe soon he'll have enough to buy a sense of humor - he really needs one.
