Montezuma by Fleet Foxes
September strives to become an archivist for museums across the globe. The song is discussing the historic figure Montezuma who was an Aztec emperor - it also relates to the larger idea of fleeting importance and the inevitability of death. Rather than feeling sadness or discomfort when facing the past, September embraces it as an opportunity to learn and to grow. Her job allows her to not only expand her knowledge of the past but also to relate it forward, thus understanding the world around her. September also manages to relate it inwards, having her remain humble as, even with all this knowledge and success which the career brings, she will be equally in the past and gone as anyone else.

Another aspect of working as a archivist at the museum is seeing the joy it brings others. Although some children dread the dreary fieldtrips to the museum, an equal if not bigger number visit with nothing but awe and curiosity brimming their little hearts. Weddings have taken place in the large halls of her workplace, the names of wealthy families or deceased donors plastered above their doors. First dates, last dates, anniversaries, babies first steps - they've all taken place in this beautiful place of learning. Being a part of this process and, more importantly, it's continuation and preservation fills September with a gentle pride.

they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I said loudly an astronomer. my friends laughed a little at me as it wasn't the typical thing a kid said. some said firefighters, police men, or doctors. but I didn't want to be like everyone else, I wanted wonder and excitement in my life. something I would love to do every day of my life and not get bored or frustrated or be unhappy. I've always loved the concept of space, spending endless hours staring at the night sky and watching the moon slowly move across it. I would barely get any sleep as I wondered; what else was out there? what more is to be seen other than earth and the life we see? thusly the strong urge to find out what lies in the black emptiness struck me and I made up my mind. I wanted to discover new moons, planets, and stars. to understand what caused it all, how did it come to be. it always had amazed me and it still does, and you know the best part of it? I love every single second of it.

let me go a bit deeper into the science behind an astronomer, lets start out with the definition of one. An astronomer is a scientist in the field of astronomy who concentrates their studies on a specific question or field outside of the scope of Earth. They look at stars, planets, moons, comets and galaxies, as well as many other celestial objects — either in Observational astronomy, in analyzing the data or in theoretical astronomy. I am in observational astronomy, which means I monitor and take notes and calculations of what goes on in the universe. though this job does not just consist of staring at a bunch of pretty things in space, we often do calculations and sometimes predictions of things. say we were to send out a space ship to just collect data, we'd have to use physics and mathematics to see what we need to build the space craft out of so it can survive a safe exit and entry from earth to space as well as safe entry back into space; keeping everyone and thing on board intact and alive. it's not an easy job if you don't like science and math, which fortunately for me I love and are my two best subjects.

Being a veterinarian means there’s many ups and downs, especially when it comes to the life and death of a beloved pet. But, even if the animal passes, he knows there are so many other animals that deserve love. He went through his own trauma after a hamster of his painfully passed away, but when he got to experience just as much affection from other animals, he knew he wanted to be a veterinarian, so he could love on all animals, and he could share that experience with others. He knew he could also help pets in need, and avoid the possible death of a loved one. He loves to give others a chance, and he wants other kalons and people to feel the love that they can get from the animals all around them, waiting to have a home.

Orion understands that some situations can be dreadful for a pet and its owner. This includes things such as surgery or things as severe as amputation. But, you can’t let it be the sole focus of someone, especially since a pet needs all the love and affection it needs to help it through the time themselves. When you can look at the brighter side of things, and make a story or a playful understanding of the situation, it helps not only the owner, but the pet too, both inside and out. And he wants that to happen with everyone, and being a veterinarian is just one more way to help those in need.
