Mason has a very weird guilty pleasure, in the fact that its odd for him to feel so insecure about it. Its quite simple actually - he adores koi fish. Decorating the shallow ponds and tending the delicate plant life is a soothing and fun experience for him, but yet he still gets embarrassed about his passion. He believes its a very feminine activity, to be so soft and careful with his work, and being the 'manly man' he tries so desperately to seem like it would just destroy him if anyone found out. Whenever other Kalon's see or comment on the lovely ponds surrounding his home he usually comes up with some odd story about them, like theyre his girlfriends project or they just happened to be that nice naturally. Of course no one believes him, but they play along with it in hopes of seeing him act like his normal self, and for those little moments of pure pride shimmering in his eyes each time they compliment his stunning koi.

Guilty Pleasure: picking off the spikes from cacti in his cactus garden with his paws. he loves to pick them off one by one, passing hours upon hours just picking spines from cacti one by one. they constantly need band aids on their paws due to this, and they bleed a ton once they get cut, but that's the purpose band aids serve. lars had always gotten spines of cacti stuck in his tail, so it because a pet peeve once they did get stuck. after a year of getting them stuck, lars had enough. he began picking off the spines, first in bunches, but then found out that picking them off one by one was much more satisfying. from then on out, lars had the guilty pleasure of cacti-spine-picking. whenever he sees one with its spikes, it's his job to pick all of them off. and in doing all of this spine-picking, they attempt not to be caught, and lie about not ever doing it, saying all the spikes just fall off. they use the spikes as other useful things, such as decoration, and creative things as such.
