Companion;
A giant porcupine! Relic loves coiling up underneath her companion's belly, to feel the warmth of the soft undercoat as well as feel protected by the crown of quills surrounding her. The porcupine in turn adores grooming Relic's scales and methodically cleaning off retained sheds.

As any herp keeper knows, it's unwise to house any animal with a snake for fear or the snake eating it or being attacked by that creature. And Bean is no exception. Rescued as a small child's birthday gift, Bean was abused and malnourished. She was placed next to a turtle's tank during her rehabilitation and was pleasantly curious about the neighbor. Although neither animal were allowed to see one another personally due to fear of natural instincts taking over, they always preferred staying on the side of their tank which was closest to the other. Although anthropomorphism is something I hastily avoid when dealing with even the cutest of snakes, I do believe they find comfort in the other and have become friends.
Howdy!
