Personality:

Vashti is an adventurous soul to say the least, always jumping at the chance to
do anything dangerous, fun, exciting, etc. Anything to get her adrenaline going
and to cure the boredom.
Hardworking and dedicated, Vashti takes her task seriously, no matter if it’s a
paid job, chores, a favor for a friend, you name it. She will get the job done no
matter what and take pride in her work.
She is imaginative and loves creating things of all sorts, painting, drawing,
sculpting, writing, etc. Though I never said she was good at any of them, in fact
she is only good at drawing and painting, everything else she is horrible at. None
the less she tries anyway, not caring how terrible it looks.
Loyal to the bone, she has your back no questions asked. However only friends
and family have earned her loyalty as she does not give it freely, one must earn it
as much as you would earn her trust.
Protective and caring, she does her best to make sure those she loves are safe
and away from harm.
However, she can be competitive with anyone doing anything. She always does her
best to win, although smack talk sometimes comes along with doing anything
competitive with her.
Ambitious and always the optimist she always tries to succeed yet tries to have a
positive outlook no matter the outcome.
Vashti is somewhat clumsy, seeming to always trip over her paws, knock things over,
bump into people, step on paws, etc.
Fierce and fiery, Vashti has a passionate soul which is always ablaze. Always willing
to fight yet having a hard time admitting when she’s wrong.
Now Vashti is tricky and deceptive and because of this she has gained the skill as a
thief. Whenever there’s something that catches her eye she knows she must have it,
and she cannot just let it go. It gnaws at her mind until she gives in and makes a
plan to steal it. At first she started as a pickpocket, snatches wallets and anything of
value to help feed her family through harsh times, but it has grown into more of a
second nature to her now.

Her collection isn't made up of the usual items such as bottle caps, stamps and such. Instead she found her most prized thing to collect are items she 'liberated' from other people, as she would put it. In truth her collection is made out of stolen objects she found interesting. This collection contains a watch, marbles, plastic jewels, wallets and more.

Childhood:

Vashti and Xion were born in fall, this became a complication when food became scarce and there wasn’t much to feed them all. With little food and warmth they struggled, and through that grew a rivalry between them. They fought over everything.
And when the warmer seasons came and food was plentiful, their sibling rivalry never faltered, yet continued in other areas. Friends, games, and more.

Adolescence:

Growing older they were introduced into puppy love, as many young teens are. At this time the bickering and competitive relationship they had faded away until they grew distant to each other, they talked less and tried to have other relationships. This continued onto their late teen years, were they focused on other things that they found more important.

Adulthood:

As adults they grew closer once more, keeping the sibling rivalry they had as children yet focusing it on less important matters such as games. They still tease and bicker, but they care for each other.

A foggy night with a full moon had been the night they had been born. Agony had been their entrance into the cold world. Tonight was such a night and one of them was up to no good with the help of the rolling mist in the valley they lived in.

Xion groaned as he trotted through the woods, his black coat hiding him in the shadows as the blue seemed to pierce the fog like fire making him a beacon in the night. His search for his sister wouldn’t be difficult as they stood out like with their glowing marks. He had noted her disappearance an hour after the scent had gone cold when he went to get a drink. This bothered him so much that he tried to follow the scent, only to find himself now emerged in fog in the forest. He lost the trail when he came upon a river, causing a delay of an hour and the urgency to build within.

Vashti of course was in the small village where they are told not to go by their mother. Off in one of the wealthier people’s hut searching for something marvelous, perhaps even shiny. Something that she would have that her brother couldn't possibly claim to have or found by some chance. Ahh there was a pendant of white gold with black opal center piece and fire opals ringing the outside of it. Now to snatch it before everyone could spot her and be home before her family got up for the next day’s hunt.

It took her less then fifteen minutes to break into the house as a window had been cracked open, though it had been stubborn from the rot and the bend from moisture in the wood. She had squirmed through the opening before landing with a soft thud. Cursing under her breath she paused and waited silently for what seemed like an eternity, when in reality it was only five minutes, only to sniff around the gems 'Oi' she was proud she got this far and the stupid hairless twolegger left it unguarded well she would hoard it as the prize of her collection. Her jaw wrapped around it.

SNAP!

A reaction happened when she grabbed the pendant causing a steel cage to drop around her and seal her in till the owner could come back from whatever to have her taken away. She sent out a howl of shame as she sat there before deciding she had to somehow get out of this before either her brother or mother could see her in this mess.

What she didn't know was they both had heard but her brother was closer to her and ran till his lungs felt like they would burst. She was loyal to his family, but sometimes his sister could be so difficult. One of these days he wouldn't be able to help her out of the mess. His paws skid to a stop at a house and the inward groan he thought could be audible to those that might be within ten feet of him. He saw the window open and climbed onto the ledge to look in, spotting his sister he realized finally just how she got her hoard and this disappointed him. He was going to prove that you didn't have to steal or cheat to get stuff in life, but perhaps this was a lesson to teach his sister to change her ways. What he couldn't have guessed was that move alone would cause them to go their ways for some time before they would ever maybe see eye to eye again.

Their mother had loped up spotting her son in a twoleggers, still not sure why he was there till she noted her daughter's fur. A groan of disapproval as all she could do was whisk her son back to safety berating him for not keeping up with his sister, even if he had been asleep. They could only wait in hiding and hope that she would end up okay. It was several hours of waiting till the human had walked in with surprise and anger in his features and lots of yelling. You know when you mom catches you with a cookie stolen from the cookie jar or something of the same nature, well this yelling was quite like that but maybe a tone worse as he started talking into a box that would bring more like him.

At that point in time to Kalons stood trying to hide their fur so they could keep up with the troublesome thief that was their blood. They were not able to help her escape till she was out the human's compound that held cages. Vashti had vowed she would try to do better, especially after that smug look her brother gave her after breaking her out.
