General info

Windfall Efimero's personality; Windfall is the most extroverted Kalon you will ever meet. He absolutely loves to meet and talk to other people. Mingling is one of his strong suits. This is why Crimson usually asks him to ask people for things for him... usually. Crimson can never find the words to say. That's OK though, Windfall is pretty confident in his experience of talking to other people.

Windfall Efimero's likes;
♞Sweets. That's the main reason why there's a candy drawer. "Candy?? Did someone say CANDY?!"
♞Sleeping. "Hush little kalon let me go to bed. Yeah, just let me go to bed."
♞Swimming. Sadly, it's not recommended due to his fluffy fur. "Wait, I can't swim? That's not fair!"
♞Pranks. Just simple ones, and good ones. Like leaving candy in other Kalons' bags. "Shhhh. Don't tell on me!"
♞Dragonflies. Since he was a kit he loved catching dragonflies. "Hey! I caught one!!"
♞Dioramas. It helps him to better understand things. Sometimes even he makes one! "Aww, I forgot the cat figure!"
♞Thunder. Thunder was always his lullaby. "It's raining!! Do you think there'll be thunder?"
♞Ancient History. Windfall often stays in the library (and is often kicked out for laughing to much) to study history. "AND THEN THERE- oh, and then there was.."

Windfall Efimero's dislikes;
♞Dust. Windfall is quite allergic. He puffs up more and his face turns red. "ACHOO! ACHOO!"
♞Aquariums. He's always been on the bad side of the ocean. "Did you see that?! That dolphin just mocked me!"
♞Loud sounds. He is very sensitive to loud noises. "What was that?! CRIMSON!"
♞Twigs. More often than not twigs get stuck in his fur. "Ack! It's so itchy!"
♞Flying. In planes, that is. He gets horrible motion sickness. "Grrrllll. I need a barf bag.."
♞Heat. It gets really hot under his fur. "Need. Water.. And food."
♞Card games. Windfall could never wrap his head in something he finds boring. "What the?? How!?"
♞Marshmallows. Sure he likes sweets but marshmallows are a while other story. "No, don't get me near those things!"

♞Kits. Windfall loves kits! Especially newborns! They are so cute. "Who's a little-bitty cutie-patootie?? You are!"
♞Admitting mistakes. He never really admits but it'll get pretty obvious when he stutters. "N-no way!"
♞Movies. Movies are the best! He can say no to shopping but not movies! "Wait?! Did you say Finding Kalon?!"

Mamon! It's a soft sponge cake that can be brought anywhere. It's soft and very sweet!

♞Victor
Victor is a pomsky. Half pomeranian, half husky. When Crimson said that seals aren't allowed in the house, he got a pomsky and named him Victor.

♞Armadillo
No, she's not an armadillo. She's a cat, breed is a korat. She's a sweetie pie who always wants attention! And her meow is the cutest. No one knows what got into his head when he named her Armadillo.

What's his job?
He's a special effects technician. Working on the set to create monsters, aliens and mutant plants! It's his life work, most of it being self taught. He did get a degree in film making. He originally wanted to become a graphic designer but life had another plan.

Superstitions
Windfall believes in superstitions. Like ghosts, aliens, monsters! It helps him in special effects sometimes but at other times he just be become paranoid.

Crimson's personality; Crimson is more of a bipolar Kalon. He can be the sweetest, most adorable Kalon one minute, and the next, he is bursting in (metaphorical) flames of anger. He isn't usually angry, though. He is practicing on his anger issues very hard. Though, it's still kinda hard to be nice to people who are jerks to you, ya know? That's why he usually gets in trouble for fighting... but Windfall always comes by to help him out, and calms the other person who he was fighting with. It usually ends well, though, with everyone being OK. He usually tries to also be the sophisticated one out of the two; even with his problem.

Crimson's likes;
♥ Coloring. "Hey, don't judge me. I like to be childish."
♥ Eating. "Heh... don't we all like to?"
♥ Bugs. "Call me crazy, but I like them all. Even spiders."
♥ Being lazy. "I just love to sit around. I really like laying out in the sun, though. Feels good on my fur."

Occupation;
He is currently a vet working on different types of mammals. He's very smart about the medicines and how to take care of various animals. He isn't quite sure about fish, or bugs, though, because he doesn't take care of those ones. Only main animals like cats and dogs.

Favorites;

Macaroons. It's perfect for a little snack when he doesn't feel like eating a meal.

ツ Drink:
Orange soda. He doesn't like the fizz, though. He prefers his soda flat.

ツ Movie:
He can't really say he has a favorite, but he likes the movie The Cat Returns, or maybe Howl's Moving Castle. (Both by Hayao Miyazaki!)

Snow leopards. He absolutely loves the way they look.

"Criiiimmmmssssooon!!!" Windfall cried as he entered the house. Crimson turned his head to see his brother whining once again. He just smiled.

"Yes?" Windfall put a paw around his brother's neck.

"I feel sick!" Windfall exaggerated to Crimson.

"How come?" Crimson chuckled.

"Remember when we were kids? I'd get sick and you'd ask one of the adults for a lollipop?" Windfall tried to make some sort of large puppy dog eyes.

"You're dodging my question again, Wind." Windfall ignored Crimson's remark.

"Do you remember?" Windfall asked.

Crimson sighed and smiled. His patience never seemed to run out. "Yes."

"Fine then! I'll just starve!" Windfall cried out and tugged at Crimson's neck fur.

"Wind, you're an adult." Crimson said with a slight giggle. Windfall continued to make puppy dog eyes towards Crimson.

Crimson finally sighed and hugged his brother. "But you'll always be my little brother." Windfall laughed and tackled Crimson.

"Oof! What?!" Crimson shrieked.

"Get me a lollipop or I will unleash the tickle attack!!" Windfall laughed like a villain. Crimson played along.

"Noooooooooo. Don't hurt me....." his sarcasm was obvious but Windfall just laughed again and started to tickle Crimson.

"REVENGE!" he started to tickle Crimson.

"Wait, wait!! No, STOP! Ha aha ahaaaahahh!" Crimson screamed and snorted until he stood up and pushed Windfall. "Okay, I'll get the lollipop." Crimson unlocked the drawer. Windfall has a.. sweet tooth.

"Yay! You're the best, Sonny!" Windfall hugged Crimson and grabbed the lollipop.

"Didn't even greet me." Crimson whispered under his breath.

"I left something for you on the counter!" Windfall smiled and ran upstairs.

"What? Oh, this?" Crimson saw a small gift-wrapped box. Inside was a cupcake from his favorite cake shop. 'Merry Tuesday, have this. Thanks for being a great brother!' It was obvious that it was from Windfall due to the messy paw-writing. Crimson placed a paw to his cheek. "Thanks also, little brother."

Where do they live?
They live in Minnesota, it's the only place where they can adjust to weather. Everywhere else is a hazard due to their fur.

How did Crimson and Windfall meet?

"Momma, where are we?" a fluffy young kalon asked. Beside him, in a car is an older kalon. Possibly in her late thirties. She gently touched his face. "We're going home, fluffy bun." she hummed with a forced smile. The young kalon looked out the car window. "But home is that way, Momma." he said, his voice high and innocent. His mother smiled. "Yes. But this is our new home." she looked at the young kalon. "This is home, Windfall." Windfall frowned and looked at his paws. And his mother started singing.

"Tell me, my love. Why?

Windfall smiled showing a gap in his tiny kit teeth. His mother pat his head. The sun beamed through the car windows as they drove on.

One hour. Forty minutes. Thirty minutes.

They got closer to the new flat.

Beep beep. His mother beeped the car when they arrived. Windfall got down excitedly. His legs dangling from the car. His mother helped him down. He was about to run to explore when his mother called him. "Windfall! You have to help me sweetie!" Windfall padded to the back of the car and was given a small backpack with a dog design. "Okay, now you can explore." his mother fixed his hair and he struggled on the stairs. The flat was alright. But it seemed to be for more than he and his mom. He heard something in the kitchen. "Momma?" he asked. But his mother was fixing their bags.

"Hello!" there was another older kalon, a lady fixing up a strawberry shortcake and playing Under The Sea. "You must be Windfall. Where's your mom?" Windfall wondered why there was another kalon in their flat. And more importantly, when can he get a slice of cake? The kalon noticed what he was eyeing on. "You want a slice, dear?" he nodded reluctantly. Momma told me I can't get food from strangers. But it's cake, she must be nice. She handed him a plate with a small slice. He quickly ate when his mother came through the door.

"Oh, hello! How's it been, Marley?" the kalon asked his mom. "It's been fine so far, Calley." his mom answered. Marley helped with the bags. "Windfall, sweetie, you'll be sharing a room with Calley's son. It's at the end of the hall." his mother told him.

Why are they living with other people? Windfall wondered as he walked to his new room. He tiptoed to reach the doorknob and he twisted it. The room was cold and there were carpets on the ground. Toys were neatly alligned on the walls and there were two beds. One grey one and one navy blue one. Windfall climbed on the empty grey bed when he noticed someone on the other bed. The unknown lump was breathing, their chest rising and falling.

Curiously, Windfall climbed off and brought his mini lightsaber as a weapon. "Monster??" he said softly, his paws shaking. "Monster??" he asked again. The lump didn't move. He looked at the bed and climbed. There was something. They suddenly moved and Windfall panicked. "MONSTER!! MOMMA!" he screamed and hit them on the head. "Owie!" they said. Windfall didn't notice because he ran out of the room. He ran to his mother with a heavy breath.

"Honey! What's wrong?" his mother asked. The unknown lump scrambled out of the room towards Calley. "Mommy! He hit me on the head with a stick!" Great, now there were 2 panicking kits. Marley carried Windfall. "Why'd you do that? Windfall! Say sorry!" his mother scolded. Calley smiled. "It must have been a big misunderstanding, there's no need to say sorry." Marley wouldn't have it. Windfall glanced at the crying kit. "I didn't mean it...." the other kit cried still. "I'm sorry.."

Windfall looked. The kit wiped his eyes. "It's okay... I'm Crimson." he smiled as he introduced himself. "I'm Windfall." he smiled. "Hi!" Marley then spoke. "Okay boys, now go to your room." they followed and an awkward silence filled the room.

"Are we going to live together??" Crimson asked. "Maybe. I don't know about Momma." Windfall said. The sun was setting. The kits were getting sleepy. "Lights out, sleep tight!" Crimson's mother said. But Windfall had a habit of staying up late. Once the door closed he leaped off the bed. He went out the door to go to the bathroom when he felt a paw on his shoulder. "Agh!" he squealed. It was just Crimson. "What are you doing? Mommy will be mad at you!" he warned. Windfall just shrugged. "I have to go to the bathroom." Windfall said. Crimson nodded. "Okay.." And he went back to bed.

Windfall was soon out of the bathroom. He was about to go back to bed when his ears twitched. "Momma?" his mother and Calley were talking and drinking coffee. "It's great that we found a way to do this, money keeps on getting tighter." his mom said. "Yeah, darn teaching salary. Never helps." his mom sipped coffee. "I know. Thanks for letting us share a flat. Since my only job is here." his mom looked sad. She looked at her coffee. "C'mon! Marley, you were my best friend since grade four! Plus, this was your idea." Crimson's mom chuckled. "I'm just worried. What if Windfall and Crimson won't get along? And the money...." his mom sighed.

Quickly he went back to the room. He shook Crimson to wake up. Crimson rubbed his eyes and yawned. "Why....?" "Get your piggy bank! Our momma's need help!" when Crimson heard that his mom needed help he bolted out of bed. "What kind of help?" he asked as he reached for a blue piggy bank. "They need money! Do you think this is enough?" Windfall shook the piggy bank. There was about a handful of quarters inside. "Woah! That's a lot!!" Crimson exclaimed. Windfall and Crimson ran to their mothers. "Momma!" Windfall squealed. "Sweetie! It's late!" his mother said.

"We have money!! You don't have to cry!!" he hugged his mother. Crimson did the same. "Mommy!! We can help!! We have more piggy banks!!" he nuzzled his mother. "Honey, that's yours we can-" Crimson stopped his mother. "No!! Take it!" and you can't really argue with a kit. Marley and Calley shed a tear. "Okay, we'll hold the money.. Only if you'll go to sleep." Windfall and Crimson nodded and strolled into the room. Feeling exceptionally proud.
