Barbara looks towards the
pile of papers on her desk.
All of them either splattered
with ink, clipped together or
are used as bookmarks for
another pile of books. It's
12:00 am. Their computer
is on wikipedia and their tablet
is playing an educational video.
Barbara is scribbling something
about animal biology with one
paw and something about quantum
physics with the other. Yes, they
are ambidextrous. They sigh as
they shake their head to wake up.
Eye bags are obvious. They grunt
something before chugging some
coffee. And by the packets beside
the coffee maker, it's her 3rd cup
of coffee. "Yeah....." she says to
no one. Well, it seems like no one.
"I know... I know... But.." she
suddenly stops.. Her ears flick to and fro.
"But this is finals, Metra. Finals! I can't
stop." she grunts again. She swivels
her chair to another direction.
"You can't always have it your way!
This is important!" her pupils dilate.
"To who?! To me! It's important to me!"
she faces her papers again. She mumbles
before she sighs a sigh a regret. "Look,"
she scratches her forearm. "I'm sorry,
Metra. You've been with me since... Forever..
But I have to finish studying." Around her
room are a bunch of drawings. Her and...
Someone else. Some of the drawings
are beside her bed. It said "Barbara
and Metra. Best friends". A faint
sillhouette can be made. It's of
another kalon. "I can't handle this anymore.
You're growing up." Barbara is the only
one who sees it clearly. "You're forgetting
me, darling." Metra smiles with sparkling
blue tears. "I just don't want you to tire
yourself... You're gonna get weaker and
weaker if you keep ignoring your friends
and family.. And I'm just you imaginary frie-"
Barbara shuts Metra up. "No! Don't say
it! That's what everyone else says
and now you?!" Metra smiles warmly.
"But it's true. You've grown up darling.
You don't need me. Not anymore.
I'm not real." Barbara gets teary eyed.
"Shut up! Don't say that!...." She sniffles.
Metra comes closer. She kisses Barbara
on the forehead. "I've been with you since
you were a kit. But you don't need me
anymore. I'm happy to have been
your imaginary friend." Metra hugs
Barbara but it feels empty. "I've
been fading for a while now. Some
kalon out there needs an imaginary
friend also. And you can handle
yourself, right?" Barbara says nothing
but looks at Metra. "That's my little angel."
Metra kisses her forehead and hums a
tune before fading into the dust and wind.
Barbara breaks. She puts her paws to
her eyes to stop the tears. "You were always
real to me."

Let's cut that short, shall we? Barbara is a rather... Rude kalon. She won't take no for an answer. She is bluntly honest and never really cares about anyone's feelings. Not even her own. Her empathy is rather weak and tends to brush off any type of negative (or positive) comments.

→To family members
Barbara doesn't believe in family by blood. But she did grow up with 5 sisters and 6 brothers and a rather large biological family tree. She nontheless loves her family (well, most of them) as much as she can. Though her family don't truly know her she still manages to show them a bit of how she is.

→To friends
Now Barbara doesn't have a ton of friends. Only a paw-ful. But she is close to them and they are the only ones who truly understand her. She's lucky to even have friends, knowing how she acts towards anyone. Her friends might call her rude, mean, unresponsive and too honest but they'll still call her sweet and caring. That's because, even if not shown, she will do her best to care for someone and anyone who needs it.

She doesn't care. She literally doesn't care.

→Not much to say really. She grew up in a household full of rowdy kits and busy adults. She studies on her own and never really plays with her (hyper) siblings. She can't say that she's emotionally or physically scarred or anything. And she can't really say that so nothing interesting happenned. There was this one time she threw a bed out if a hotel window.

→ Metra is her imaginary friend. She only gained friends in her college years, when she was more open amd slightly more social. But as a kit her siblings were too excitable and the playground was too far away. Her parents were busy engineers and all the rest of her family lived abroad. So what else could she do for some company? That's right! Make an imaginary friend.

→Why'd she go away?
Barbara grew up. She started to get friends of her own and she got busier and busier with college. She started to study too much and she started to forget people who loved her. And that had to be payed.

She loves to swim! She's been swimming for a long time now. She's no champion but it sure is fun!

Barbara has a sweet tooth! Her all time favorite candy is rock candy.

She adores studying the past of kalons!! Especially trinkets and items!

They're majestic! It's a plus if there's a cave behind it!

Barbara is stil in college, she's trying to become an archeologist. It's a childhood dream. She'll be getting her Master's soon enough. She was actually planning to be a astronomist because that's what her parents (grandparents and uncles and aunts) wanted of her. But she decided to become an archeologist.

She enjoys playing the piano every once and a while. Or the keyboard if possible. Whether it be classical, pop or disney songs. She loves practicing music whenever possible.

Her friend just told her to try it out and soon enough there were hundreds of orchids, roses, petunias and daisies everywhere in her backyard.

→Watching cartoons
"Is this even a hobby?"
Maybe? But she spends hours watching cartoons and animations. Shows such as Steven Universe, Spongebob Squarepants, and Adventure Time!

As stated earlier, Barbara has a sweet tooth! Candy is an important part of her life. She loves to make candies with various colors and tastes. And if she gives you a small bag of candies that means she recognizes you as a friend. Which she rarely does.

→Edgar Kalon Poe
Barbara met Poe in the library while she was researching about the past of the kalon species. Poe was kind enough to show her to the history section and invited her for some tea. Barbara couldn't say no, mostly because he helped her with her research. Now every Wedensday or so, they go to discuss various books. Sometimes history, fiction or the newspaper if the day is boring. →Dōnatsu Romero
Barbara was a guest at a pie competion, her sister was competing so she had to go. Dōna bumped into her while running. Literally bumped into her. She grunted as she wiped off the cherry pie from her backpack. She was about to scold whoever splattered the pie on her until she saw a small apologetic kit. Dōna was really sorry. Barbara felt kinda guilty about nearly scolding him so she bought ingridients to make a new pie for him. The two have been friends eversince. With Barbara being the taste tester for failed recipes. Nico met Barbara at a game shop. Barbara was looking theough the games for her brother's birthday. Then she saw "Kalons Survivor VII" and she reached for it. As she placed a paw on the game another blue paw held it. Barbara grunted and they had to do flip the coin 3 times for Nico to get the game. Barbara didn't really care but it was fun to play flip the coin with a random stranger. Barbara bought another game and she and Nico started to talk more about gaming (qith Barbara being a total noob). Owned by nezushi.

→Reena
The two kalons were actually classmates in the 2nd, 4th and 7th grade. They never really talked to each other until they became roommates. Barbara was unsure of Reena, they both knew that they were classmates before. Reena invited Barbara for studying. Of course Barbara didn't really want to but she knew that studying with someone else might be helpful. Before they knew it they became close friends. →Squilliam/Marin
She and Marin found each other by deciding what would be better: a shark keychain or a dolphin keychain. Barbara got the shark keychain and Marin got the dolphin. Marin and Barbara shared a few laughs before Marin started going around the aquarium with her. Marin explained much to her about marine biology (which she took notes of) and Barbara found his career rather interesting. Under strange circumstances they found each other in the dairy section of the super market and had a little chat and seafood later on. They became quite close now. Owned by Honeycomb101.

Alice and Barbara were in the same class and were teamed together in a math competition. Now, Barbara isn't good at math so she blames herself for losing the competition. "Aw, but it's okay! " and Alice made her a cup of coffee to cheer her up. Barbara managed to smile and even appreciated Alice's help. Barbara still isn't #1 in mathematics but Alice often tutors Barbara. Luckily, Alice is patient and kind towards Barbara (even though she's very mean at times). Now the two spend time together (often with Alice drinking coffee) and even have fun watching movies. Personality:

Most of the time, Eros is a happy little cinnamon roll. He is usually hanging out with his friends and going to themed cafes and shopping for clothing. Eros is energetic, maybe too energetic. Eros can feel when someone falls in love with him and when that happens, his happiness and energy is sucked away since he knows they can never be together. He acts like he is still happy and energetic but there are a few friends that can see through their disguise.

Why so sad:

Eros strolls through the park filled to the brim with smiling happy kalons. It was Valentine's Day. Eros takes in a deep breath and sighs. The flower petals from the trees nearby floats down gently like a soft rain. He looks over to where he met him. It has been a year since he meet him, the kalon of his dreams. Eros walked over to a bench beneath a tree and sat down. He closes his eyes to reminisce.

A kalon walked over to Eros with a goofy smile. "Heyo, Eros!" the kalon giggled. "What is it?" Eros asked knowing something was up. "Here a present for you!" he said smiling. A smile that could light up the darkest of times. Eros opened up the gift and exclaimed, "Wow this is so pretty!" He puts on the hairband. "Hehe you looks so cute!" the other kalon giggled. Eros's face grew bright red. "Hey shut up!!" Eros shouted shyly. The other kalon continued to giggle.

The shouting of children snapped Eros back to reality. He sighed and got up to walk back home. Before Eros left he whispered to himself, "I miss you more than anything but I'm sorry. I'm not allowed to love anyone since it's my job to be Cupid." He walked away though the crowd of lovey-dovey couples.

Relationships:

Logan - Eros pretty much hates Logan. He hates everything Logan does especially when something unfortunate happens. Logan is the opposite of Eros. Logan on the other hand loves to hangout with Eros (poor Eros). He would follow him around and ask him for advice. Logan might have also fallen in love with Eros...

Merabella - Eros sees Merabella as family. He likes to talk to her as she never seems to fall in love with anybody. He would rant quite a bit about his life to her and she would keep it all a secret. He feels completely safe when he is with her.

Winston - The young on likes to play tag with Eros since he is super energetic. Usually Winston would run out of steam before Eros. For Eros, being near Winston is therapeutic. Winston help mend his heartbreak and loneliness.

Hobbies and Career

Eros's career is actually a baker/writer. The books he write,
which he puts under fiction, feels super realistic... Well they're
actual events that happened in his life or a close friend's. Eros is
also a baker in a local shop and loves to bake for the younger
audience since most of them share the same liking to sweet
food/snacks.
