Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.
Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sentient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.
Only 10 more to #200!!
Note: The fins are not functional and are actually made up of fine hairs.(So yes, the fins can technically be styled to not look like fins) If this kalon were to get wet, it'd look a lot like this,, (the hair was also inspired by the oil slick hair trend)
This is a limited impress me. As long as you stay within the guidelines, go wild!!

FAQ-
Do subtitles (username, name, age, etc) count towards the word limit?
No, they don't. It's the content that comes after that's counted.
Will I be disqualified if I write over the limit of 1,000 words?
Technically yes but I'm pretty flexible, if you're less than a hundred over, I'll let it pass. (Unless the 1 extra you chose is writing,,,in that case your actual limit would be 1,500 words)
Can art be drawn/ordered of the kalon in other forms? (Human/Anthro/etc)
Sure thing! That's perfectly fine
