Foxclaw twitched his whiskers. He bounded after the deputy, then fell into step beside Breezeflower. "I can fly fine, thanks." He smirked. "Watch, I'll show you." He bounded a couple tail-lengths away from the patrol, then leaped over a clump of grass. "See? I can fly." He leaped back over, and bounded back to the patrol. "I bet I can hunt better than you still," he challenged good-humouredly.

Swiftbreeze brought her sleeping kits closer to her belly. She sighed wistfully. She wanted to go out, maybe hunting. But she was too worried her kits would wake up, and worry why she was gone, or decide to 'explore' again.

Rosekit blinked open her eyes sleepily when her mother sighed. She looked up at Swiftbreeze. She looked sad. "Are you sad, mama?" She asked, sitting up. Swiftbreeze smiled down at her. "No, not sad. Just wishful." Rosekit tolted her head. "Do you want to go back to warrior duties?" Her mother blinked in surprise, then nodded. "But I'd never trade you two for anything." Rosekit nodded. "Okay." She said, then nestled back into her mother's soft belly.

Foxclaw scoffed. "Ha! As if, you wish!" He chanted laughingly. "Fine, whoever catches the most prey, can obviously fly better, deal?" He hoped he confused Breezeflower.

Breezeflower had no idea what he had just said, but she still said "You are on, hope you're ready to lose!" with that she bounded ahead, and began to search for scents

Foxclaw twitched his tail. "Dang it! Mousedung!" He cursed under his breath. "She didn't fall for it!" He bounded after her, then paused and tasted the air.

Jaywing watched the two cats go. Then sniffed the air for prey

Echolight parted her jaw and sniffed the air. She heard a rustling sound and angled her ears towards the sound. A plump mouse was rustling leaves. She stalked towards it then suddenly leapt on top of it. She thanked Starclan then buried the mouse to collect later.

Breezeflower caught the scent of a vole, and began to sneak up on it. Once she got close enough, she pounced, landing slightly off center, but still managing to kill the vole. She sighed in relief that the vole hadn't made too much of a squeal. Breezeflower quickly buried the vole, and sniffed the air, to see what else she could scent
