A frightened mare by the name of Wendigo, though she prefers the simple Wen. The nickname chosen as a shortened version of her name and the question often asked: when? when will she turn?

Her alter reflects this question, a crimson red with stark white antler horns. The Monster often represented by a stag.

Theme Song | Inspiration
this fan song for Hannibal has given me the basis for her character. Someone struggling with the darkness inside them, feeling trapped and as if she looses control to this beast. She must overcome her fear of it and herself and find a harmony between the two halves making her whole. Until then she will always remain empty and alone. Distancing herself from everyone and everything thinking she is saving them, but only slowly ruining herself.

The two halves of her being are nearly opposites. Yin and Yang, Good and Evil must always come together to find a balance in the world. Wen is delicate, sensitive to extreme emotions and always powerful in her words. She can be easily broken but at the same time the simplest things can make her feel again. Harsh words combating a beautiful sunset to balance her. On the other hand, Wendigo has sprouted from these extreme emotions she keeps bottled him. The anger, the hatred, the despair and jealousy arises and lapses her judgement. During these times she is cruel, not having a care for anyone but herself and a thirst for success without dealing with consequence. This form does not care of the harm it does to others or it's self as long as the goal is reached. It leaches from Wen and those around it and feeds of the negative emotions to become stronger. Wen must battle with this negativity by focusing on the light to keep her demons at bay.

Personality:
Estrella is a clever mare who is generally in the lead all the time. She has a commanding presence and other Tolters tend to automatically let her take the lead in things. Estrella seems like a super confident, somewhat bossy mare who has a touch of a mean streak at times. However, this is mostly just a facade. Deep down Estrella is a somewhat insecure dreamer who wants to change the world. She had big dream, but is afraid to share them with anyone, or pursue them and be judged for it or told she should give up. Truly, there is nothing she would like more than to spread her wings and fly! Confident as she seems Estrella has deep seated feelings of not being good enough, and she fears failing so much that it often stops her from trying. While she finds it easy to guide other Tolters to finding their dreams, she has trouble stepping out on a limb and embracing her own dreams. She is social, but mostly in groups, not having many close, individual friends. She loves younger Tolters, but feels awkward around them, always afraid she might make a mistake. She is not much of a family Tolter due to being orphaned at a young age, but she secretly likes the idea of having a mate and foals someday. She doesn't always find it easy to trust other Tolters, due to her own insecurities, but she tries to overcome this and be a little less wary of new Tolters.
