First of CompleteCuriosity's character readoptions, and the first and only jbd! This child was previously named Ira and was a male. His parents are Cast and Oswyn, and he has a sister named Scout, although the owners of all three have been inactive for about a year. Ira is a blank slate and therefore has no mate or children

Requirements/Guidelines:
- This character must stay a jelly bean dragon (you cannot transfer their design to another species)
- The character may be of the lgbt+ spectrum
- The character may not have a backstory of abuse, they grew up in a loving family
- You do not have to have a jbd hangout account in order to adopt, but please do add it in your form if you have it! (it will not be counted as an extra)
- Extras are not required but recommended
- Prettying up your form is a bonus but not required
- The given sections may be as long as you want; quality over quantity!
- If you can, show not tell! I'd prefer something like a story rather than "Their quirk is ... because ..."
- The word limits are not strict but please try to stay close to them
- Art pieces may be animations or comics, but one comic page = one art piece
- PM me any questions you may have about the competition

xxxCompanion;; Bentley or “Ben” the small purple dragon. Although Ben is
xxxjust a stiff plastic figurine, Pinto believes he's a real live dragon that can
xxxfly and breathe snowflakes instead of fire. His legs and jaw can move, so
xxxPinto sticks snow in his mouth in the winter.

Aspirations for the future;; The first idea was to be a dragon rider. Pinto would
ride on Cast’s back, shouting out directions, and Cast would smile and go along
with it because it made Pinto happy. Sure Cast wasn’t the flying kind of dragon,
but he was a dragon and that was a start. Pinto dreamed of riding Ben through
the clouds, thinking Bentley would grow up alongside him to become his trusty
steed. “Just you wait, Ben,” he’d tell the figurine, “you’ll be even bigger than
me and we’ll fly all around the world!”

As months went on, Pinto grew bigger, but Bentley stayed the same tiny size.
Pinto decided that this wasn’t a very realistic plan for the future. It seemed like
the winged sort of dragons were much smaller than jellybean dragons, not big enough to ride at all. And so began
Pinto’s search for something more “realistic.”

Pinto kept coming up with something new, then quickly finding a reason why that wouldn’t work. He could be an
inventor or scientist, but he couldn’t think of anything that hadn’t been invented yet and he couldn’t understand
any of the scientific jargon he tried to read. He considered being a mapmaker and explorer, but it seemed like
anywhere he could think to go had already been explored and mapped out by someone else. He thought of being
an actor, but he was too scared to act in front of anyone but his family. Idea after idea came and went, and it
seemed like he’d never settle on what to be when he grew up.

Eventually, Pinto got it into his head that being a pirate would be a great idea. Scout loved to dress up and play
pirates, so he happily joined in. What could be better than being the captain of his own ship, sailing the open seas,
doing whatever he wanted and gaining all the riches he could ever dream of? The more he imagined it, the more he
believed this was what he really wanted to do. Forget dragon riding, forget inventing and mapmaking, forget acting-
Pinto would be a pirate!

But he realized something about pirating, and it kept nagging at his mind.. He liked everything about being a pirate
except, well, the actual pirate part. The adventure and danger was all fun and games, but, the more he thought
about it, Pinto didn’t want to be a criminal. He didn’t want to steal things or hurt people.

The only thing he could think of that had the same appeal of having his own ship and sailing the oceans was to be a
fisherman. It wouldn't be boring, maybe he could even find the biggest fish there ever was! Not only would he not
be stealing from people, but he would be helping to feed them! So this is the aspiration that Pinto finally settled on;
not a dragon rider, not a pirate.. Just a humble fisherman.



One quirk;; Pinto dreams practically every time he falls asleep and remembers his
dreams well, but he has no memory of ever having a nightmare. Instead, his dreams
are fantastical, impossible adventures- worlds with enchanted forests and sparkling
seas, dreams in which he can fly, nights when he saves the day. When he runs into
his parents’ room in the middle of the night it’s not because he needs comfort, it’s
because he wants to share these tales. And because of the way his eyes light up as
he eagerly recounts his escapades, Cast and Oswyn don’t ever have the heart to be
annoyed.
