What part of nature reminds you of them? - koi, just like her name reminds everyone of the koi ponds that surround gardens of everyone in town. Her personality is that of the water that surrounds the fish and her beauty and coat reminds everyone of the scaly friends that swim in it. Her eyes even reflect the water, not in colour, the cool pools of yellow that reflect her heart and sole. She even loves swimming just like a koi fish, she practically lives in the water, swimming day and night. Everyone loves watching koi swim, she even goes underwater, and her mane as it flies behind her looks just like the graceful koi fish's fin. The summer sun tends to be hot almost every day and it grows in heat with every day. Because of this, koi spends more and more time in the water. Also wanting to get her friends in too, she tries to persuade them that the water isn't that bad, and just takes some getting used too. Once you get used to no longer having your footing underneath you, you kind of just glide and let the current take you where it wants, just like it takes koi.

Citrine is like that, she's bubbly and the absolute kindest mare you'll ever meet, but most times she leaves relationships in fear of becoming too attached, afraid to fall too hard. So, in the end you're left with things that remind you of her, and her warmth.
