Personality
reserved - detached - wise - mysterious - private - intense - intuitive - calm
Jourdemayne is a wise Kalon. Beyond her years. She is deeply involved in witchcraft [You mentioned that this Kalon has no physical powers per se- but the magic I refer to is the "magick" variation used in traditional witchcraft and Wiccan beliefs etc.] She lives in a small cottage home and is a bit of a recluse. She prefers to stay away from modern civilizations, and when she must go out for whatever reason she wears a cloak to hide her identity. Her house is stock full of books, gems, old gadgets and gizmos: you name it. Other people treat her and her house like an attraction-- afraid of the occult she surrounds herself with. But if someone pays a genuine, respectful visit she will treat them kindly and help them with whatever they'd like. Jourde has a powerful presence and a very intense glare. She is relaxed and speaks calmly, but seems detached and surreal. It's hard to get a gauge on what she's really thinking.

Jourdemayne made her headpiece herself. [It took a long, long time.] It's mainly
made out of gold, which in witchcraft is believed to balance the body. In the center it's
topped off with one of her favorite stones, red calcite which is believed to improve mental clarity.
It is very dear to her.

and abuses it. She is disgusted by them both.

.Jourdemayne has been surrounded by nature all of her life. It's what she knows best. Her parents worked on a farm away from the city, isolated from the modern world. She never attended formal schooling, but instead learned everything at home from the books passed down in her family. Fascinated with literature, it would be all she focused on. Soon she would be the wisest of all her relatives.
Once she reached adulthood, her and her parents set out to build her a house [where she still lives]. Between both her family and the city, she would balance two realities-- trying hard to make a living. Yet there was still one place she could turn to: Books. Nature. It was everything she had faith in. She would continue to delve deeper into history and find her life-long interests. Over time, her lifetime collection grew into something more.
Home.
